For anchor text that is in a footer, should it be a keyword or the domain name www.example.com or Keyword for Example.com? We have a parent company that has other subsidiary companies and they want to have links in the footer that has domain name for link building purposes. But we want them to have keywords in the anchor text instead of the domain name?

I need to be able to explain to a client the difference from an SEO perspective between Blog. vs  /Blog. www.website.com/Blog vs Blog.website.com The client wants to know which one will help there website with SEO. I belive both will but /Blog will more. I'm looking for a tangible answer only centered around this subject. Thanks,
