If I don't have access to the thank you url to add the form code what is the best solution?

I would like to setup my form's conversion rate as a goal in my Google Analytics account. The goal is complete when someone enters their information and hits submit. Logically, the "Thank you page" would be the destination url for the goal. My problem is that the thank you page is outside of the primary domain, for example, my site is:

SiteExampl.com but the Thank you URL is thankyouurl.com

Is it possible to setup a goal like this? If so how.

I have a client that I am doing web-work for...I recommended for him to claim his Facebook Place page as well as create a twitter account. He's a little skeptical and doesn't think that a doctors office needs a Facebook and twitter page. I strongly disagree with him and would like to show him some facts. Has anyone ever done social media for a doctors office before or know where I can get some good information?

Thanks to EVERYONE who gave me their 2 cents. I first heard of the ".co" when I saw a commercial for Overstock.co. It's interesting that they would start using this. I think that that says something. Now I'm not saying it will replace the .com but it's something to consider when a company like OverStock makes a .co purchase and campaign. Thanks to everyone! I just started helping out a friends local salon and spa business and they have about 500 plus "likes" on their fackbook page...however I just was looking into facebook "deals" which is only for facebook places page. I'm trying to decide if I should start converting everything over to a Places page because I feel like they would get more benefit from it (check ins, deals, etc).  Would you agree?

What does youtube consider duplicated content? If I have a power point type video that I already have on youtube and I want to change the beginning and end call to action, would that be considered duplicate content? If yes then how would this effect my ranking/youtube page. Will it make a difference if I have it embedded on my blog?

Is this worth doing or even effective? I've been reading that you don't see to much of an effect when using automated  tools. In fact, a few people have said that they've seen better results just filling out a few "Top" directory listings. Love to hear everyone's thoughts!

If you have a membership site, which requires a payment to access specific content/images/videos, do search engines still use that content as a ranking/domain authority factor? Is it worth optimizing these "private" pages for SEO?

Alot of clients that I work with tend to purchase multiple domains that are keyword rich. However they still only have 1 website created. For example, lets say law firm located in Los Angeles owns

www.LALawGroup.com
www.LosAngelesLawGroup.com

in addition to  all the .info, .orgs

Would you still advice then to redirect all their domains to their main site(the domain with most authority)

What is the correct way to "redirect" a domain if you have multi domain names for the same site? For example if a company has

• www.mysite.com
• www.mysite.info
• www.mysite.tv
• www.mysite+location.com

Say my website lived at this location www.mysite.com  would I then just forward the other domains to the same place? Do search engines penilize for this? Do search engines view this as duplicated content? Is it even worth having these domains and making the active?

Is there any real difference in uploading an images directly to your google places page or linking an image from another site?

I have heard that you get better results if you upload a photo to photo bucket then to insider pages then post that link to your google places page. To me it just seems a bit odd to do things this way. I get that it's suppose to give you more back links however I don't think it would necessarily be relevant or useful for the user.

Any thoughts??
