I don't seem to be able to find out much information on this one. Safari often shows a suggested website as you start typing a query into the browser. I've uploaded a screenshot to help show what I mean. safari-suggested-site.png

We have recently made a website I work on responsive. This involved taking their original desktop site and then making it work on mobiles/tablets. Due to the nature of their existing header we are serving a different version to mobiles/tablets. Do the schema tags which are on the desktop header need to be added to the mobile version or are they just needed on the desktop code?

I am trying to understand how I can use SEOMOZ to ascertain the volume of visitors a competitor will achieve either daily, weekly or monthly.

I've been looking at a site in GWT and the number of indexed urls is very low when compared with the number or submitted urls on the xml sitemaps. The site has several stores which are all submitted using different sitemaps. When you perform a search in Google, eg site:domain.com/store1 site:domain.com/store2 site:domain.com/store3 The results are similar to the webmaster urls. However, looking in the analytics for landing pages used for organic traffic from Google shows a much higher number of pages. If these pages aren't indexed as reported in GMT, how could they be found in the results and be recorded as landing pages?

I've been looking at a site which has a strange ranking/indexing issue. The website has several translated versions of the site for different languages and these translated pages seem to be outranking the UK pages in the UK search results. All of the translated pages are in sub folders, eg domain.com domain.com/fr domain.com/sv domain.com/it domain.com/es I cant work out how or why Google would see these pages with non english content as more relevant than the UK pages? One thing I did notice is that there are no meta language tags on there. Could this be the issue?

Has anyone noticed any increases in the length of time it takes for WP posts to get indexed by Google? I have a website with the following: domain.com - CMS with lots of pages/content blog.domain.com - subdomain for the blog using WP It's odd.. the pages on the main site are indexed almost immediately. The posts on the blog are taking between 2-5 days. The blog posts are all unique content, here's an example of a recent one: blog.looksfishy.co.uk/2013/three-rivers-angling/

Is there a way to test if the Google Tag Manager is set up correctly? Am I right in thinking that the only code that will be output on the page will be the actual embed code, eg: SCRIPT REMOVED Cant work out if there is an issue with what has been set in the account of if there is a problem with how the code has been added to the page..

I have been looking at an ecommerce site that uses a GeoIP module to take users to the relevant store, eg: domain.com/uk domain.com/us
domain.com/euro
domain.com/row After using the SEO Moz site crawler, the GeoIP module is using 302 redirects to take users to the relevant page. So, domain.com 302s to domain.com/uk and so on. What is the impact of this in terms of SEO? Only the US version of the site was crawled by the site crawler, presumably because this was due to the US version of the site being shown based on the IP address. Links to the other stores are clearly placed in the header of the site but they weren't crawled. Thanks in advance 🙂

I'm interested to see if anyone has any additional thoughts or recent experience on subdomains vs ccTLD for International SEO. I'm semi confident that some schema tags are implemented correctly on our ecommerce category pages.. but I would just like to double check. Hi there, I have just notced on a website that it has a halt implemented html 5 structure. Well, when I say half implemented, it has the doctype and then one <header>section. After that all of the divs are custom ones that have been added for the CSS. Could this lack of structure have a negative effect on the site? Cheers, Edward </header>

I have been looking around but not found any great suggestions. If we send out a direct press release to a journalist, eg to their email address, what is the best format to send it in (eg word, pdf, rtf, html)? Also, if it was to be sent out as a pdf or word doc, is there a good way to put links in there to increase the chance of them putting a keyword link in the article if it was to be published on their site? Would a hyperlink in there be confusing or is that ok?
