Please let me know if I have this all wrong ... 500 people search for "ham" My client is #1 SERP w/clean SEO I have provided. out of the 500, half click on the SERP the rest got to ads, or to the bathroom, etc. 250 click to website, half go through.... the rest bail (50% bounce, I know this is bad, but just for demo purposes) Leaving 125 as potential Ham buyers. I have a feeling this final # should be much smaller...thoughts, insights? Thanks Mozzers!

My client is in the clothing, apparel tshirt industry geared toward a specific music icon. They have a few competitors, my spider senses tell me I will be able to get them great SERP standing, and place them in a very competitive position. Their company has been around for a while but has never written a press release. I had them craft a PR on the subject of cotton prices and how it has affected their business. A local paper will pick this up no prob. Where is the best place to go? It is not like it is breaking news, I dont want duplicate content, and I need an experts advice. I am working with a client, and when I check on SERP placement, I never see the "www" in the SERP's only nameofcustomer.com not www.nameofcustomer.com. Of course there is a redirect going on...Question is...should this matter at all? I dont understand the relationship between this kind of redirect and SEO. Thank Mozzers

Newbie here: My client is Zion rootswear. They need links, bad. They have friends in high rank places, this is good. Ziggy Marley has a link to them on his homepage: Gear: Zion Rootswear   this takes the user to the website when clicked QUESTION Should I have the ziggy team change it to www.zionrootswear.com? Ill assume this is obvious, yes they should....more juice...right? I need an expert opinion. Thanks Mozzers.

Hi Mozzers, I am a newbie, for sure. But I have been able to figure out how to help my customer very well; with the help of SEOMOZ of course. Here is the question: My customer (ZR) has a competitor and they use the phrase ZR.com in the title of one of their high ranked pages. Please see the enclosed graphic for the complete story. I have a client who ... in contrast to ALL of their competition ... has exclusive access to a music legend associated with their products. I can help my client draft exclusive content, like an interview. My client's competition are obviously on the top of SERPs, my client is at spot 20. How can I take this opportunity to increase my customer's visibility? This is a rare opportunity that will no doubt effect rank. I am about to craft a plan, but do not know where this exclusive content will have max impact. It will be on the customers blog social etc. But there may be a better place or method I was told to submit the content to the article farms, but I suspect this is cheap and may not work. I am able to help my client with many aspects of their SEO needs, but this is a special opp and I would love to learn where to turn. Any insight or wisdom is welcome. Hello, I have a client who is waivering between switching to an open source shopping platform such as Magento, or choosing a "more SEO Friendly" cart such as BigCommerce.I would love to get an opinion. They would like to control the data (open source) but existing platforms dont necessarily support some SEO efforts, opinions and wisdom welcome. Thanks!
