When you create a blog you should first choose a "target". what is your blog' s purpose?

1. If you wanna have a blog just for getting visibility, you should write almost 1 article per day and post it in your blog. 
    Write article that follow the topic of your site but "dropping" most searched keyword in your content

2. If you wanna have just backlink, use your energy and your content posting your article in guests blog.

I see a lot of blogs that set theirs link "do-follow". If you don't want to see your page rank improve and don't let your blog
being filled of stupid/no sense fake (SEO) comments, i think that you should keep no-follow setting.

Thanks Yannick.But, If I should choose just one channel where put my articles (without loosing time and energy). Two way:

1. Looking for a external worth blog where publish my article (like a personal blog network)
2. Publish all article in internal blog (I must create it yet).

I know, that question could be stupid but often i see people creating channel and content just because they must do!

My target is not rank a blog, but increase page that i created (Already all in first page).
So, what i need is backlink to those pages...

I must do that for 5 sites, so you can guess how i have to split my time in a perfect way

some weeks ago a created a blog:  mykeyword.wordpress.com Some one told me that it has got more trust that a "normal" www.mykeyword.com
Is it true?

So, i wrote some articles and dropped  a guide (linking inside to mysite.com) to blog.

My question is:
Right now i'm writing a lot of article ad i'm looking for the best channel where publish my content (post with link inside). My focus is improving quantity and quality of backlinks.

Which way must i use?

1. Use my mykeyword.wordpress.com (give freshness to blog and new backlink)
2. Create ad internal blog   mysite.com/blog and add article (without link?)
3. "Don't lose time" - Put new article only in external blog that will link to my site.

I must manage a lot of new sites and i should increase SERP position. So, i have to choose the right way right now.

There is a blog www.blogname.com and someone creates 2 mobile versions:

• iphone.blogname.com
• mobile.blogname.com

they are the perfect copy of www.blogname.com (articles, tags, links, etc etc)

How Google will manage them?

Right now, my article gets backlink by three sites

1. www.blogname.com
2. iphone.blogname.com
3. mobile.blogname.com

what you say is right: The best robots.txt file is a blank one. But I think, tell me I'm right, that robots.txt is better than noindex tag.
You have presented 404 errors. Those errors are links TO pages which don't exist, correct? Yes.

If so, I believe Sha was recommending you can create a 301 redirect from the page which does not exist...

1.** robots.txt is not the most reliable method of ensuring that pages are not indexed**

If you use tag noindex, spider will acces to your page but it will not get enough information. So, page will be semi-indexed.

My old pages ware been removed, no indexed (by robots) and I sent remove request to Google. No problem with that, no result on the SERP.

2.  So, the simple answer is that there are links out there which still point to your old pages...does not mean that they don't exist.

You can see by screenshot the link's source: just my old "ghost" pages. No other sources.

3. If you know that you have removed pages you should add 301 redirects to send any traffic to another relevant page.

How can I add a 301 redirect to a page that doesn't exit? 
Old page -> 301 -> New page (Home?). But Old page doesn't exit in Wordpress!!!

I installed WP in last days of august.

Yes... you can see the screenshot about Link Source Pages.
All new pages don't have /it/ - /en/ - /fr/ etc. So, all source page are old page.
Even if new homepage is there.

but I think that Google can looking for old page yet. This is the reason:

I deleted old page form index by GMWT "remove url request"
I dissalowed old page by robots.txt

The problem is why Google find in NEW page links to OLD page.

Yes, link come from my page. Bu I created new page by Wordpress (and deleted OLD website). So, there are NO link beetwen OLD and NEW pages. How GWMT can find a connection? Webpage Source Code HTML doesn't show any link to those page.

404 not found pages are not indexed. My big problem is that I don't now where (and How) GWMT found source link (pages that link to not found page)

Google Web Master Tool reported me that I have several 404 staus code.,

First they were 2, after 4..6 and 10, right now. Every time I add a new page.

I've got a no CMS managed website. After old website was been deleted, I installed Wordpress, created new page and deleted and blocked (robots.txt) old page.

Infact all page not found don't exist!!!  (Pic: Page not found).

The strange thing is that no pages link to those 404 pages (All Wordpress Created page are new!!!). Seomoz doesn't  report me any 404 error (Pic 3)

I controlled all my pages:

• No "strange" link in any pages
• No link reported by Seomoz tool

Bu why GWMT reports me that one? How can I risolve that problem?
I'm going crazy!!!

As Ryan said, robots.txt file is very useful when you wanna block (disallow) some pages. Indeed, if you don't want that spider crawls your page you must use robots.txt (noindex tags will let bot crawls, but not index, your page). I have got a small website but i dropped robots.txt in my folder. Maybe write just Allow: / could be useless, but you can say: "I respect protocols"

Hi experts, I created a new worth guide about food. Its purpose it to improve backlink by adding website's URL on PDF's footer (spider crawls that one, is it true?). I want send my guide to trusted blogs so users can download new pdf guide on the web.

• Is it the best way to gain popularity and let my backlinks grow?
