RE: NOFOLLOW Links: Can we 100% ignore them for SEO purposes?
For what is it worth Gregory, I've built DA with almost entirely no-follow links. So I personally would say that it would be good piece of information to have regarding the anchor text of those links.

RE: Using pictures from another domain
Yes, I was referring to Content Distro Networks.
There are no quality issues as to why you can't or shouldn't do what you want to do.

RE: Duplicate content penalty
It certainly could. Google sees the www. version as a 2nd website, so essentially you're splitting your 'ranking authority' between 2 webpages.

RE: Using pictures from another domain
I echo Andy's response. There are services that look and see where an IP is located then call the images on your page from a server closest to that user to improve load times (which is a ranking factor).
Cheers!

RE: Duplicate content penalty
+Really need more information
If you have URLs constructed dynamically depending on where the user navigates from this could also be an issue, but I would expect more than 2x the pages.

RE: Which is better: put product videos on Youtube, or video host like Wistia or Vimeo ???
Another consideration you may not have made is hosting videos on YouTube, if labelled properly can allow for another avenue of targeting particular searches.

RE: Bing is not Indexing my site.
I would definitely take Martijn and Mossa's steps 1st. I would also check for duplicate content as Bing is renowned for just de-indexing websites with a large amount of duplicate content (I've seen it as little as 40%).
You'll have to file a re-inclusion request to BING and it can take MONTHS to be processed, so you'll want to make SURE you've got your problems fixed before it gets to a human.
This the form you'll need to fill out (choose indexing issue): https://support.discoverbing.com/eform.aspx?productKey=bingwebmaster&ct=eformts
But again I would advise you to check into Bing webmaster tools 1st as it may have had a manual action taken.
Cheers!

RE: How to remove a former business location from Google Places?
A good place to start is here if it has a physical location: http://www.google.com/mapmaker
From mapmaker you can close the business (it isn't immediate as they use crowd sourcing). You can also report the business as being closed through the maps listing.
If you do a search for the listing in question, in the list view (http://maps.google.com) you'll see an option that says 'more' with an arrow pointing down. Click that and hit 'report a problem'.
Hope it helps.

RE: Paid Yahoo Listings - I Need This, Right?
Greetings Sarah,Yahoo tries to get you to pay for listings, but you can still create a free listing and claim it with a post card (just like g-local).
It is hidden on their page, but you can find it here: https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/local-listings/
Bottom-right hand option is what you'll want.

RE: Moving career site to new URL from main site. Will it hurt SEO for main page?
Anytime a website URL changes there is a large potential for harm. I would say that you can expect a significant drop in the near future after moving the site.
Make sure the old URL has a permanent redirect 301. This tells Google (and others) that the website has been moved and it is a permanent move. SERPs won't update immediately, so this will help you funnel traffic to your new website address.
In a perfect world, black-hats don't take expired domains with high DA and try to recreate the content to build up their affiliate marketing link strategies, but that's another topic.

I break things to figure out what makes them tick.
Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
