I use the Yoast SEO plugin. It has a great utility for redirects. It's only in the paid version though. It's worth the $ but it's not cheap. $89

How to Handle duplicate pages/titles in Wordpressposted in On-Page Optimization
The wordpress blog causes problems with page titles. If you go to the second page of blog posts it there's a different URL but with the same page title.
for example: page 1: site/blog page 2: site/blog/page/2 Each page gets flagged for duplicate page titles.

You can't really pinpoint the exact keywords another SEO is targeting, although you can find out indirectly by analyzing their keyword density.I really like the Wordtracker Scout Chrome extension. It gives you a nice visual of keyword density. Now select the keywords you want to know more about and use a Rank Tracking tool like Moz's to determine rank. Now, I would then use the Keyword Difficulty tool and SERP analysis for each keyword. You really need rank and keyword difficulty score to make an informed decision about a keyword strategy.
