I will take your advise Ryan. The one site with numerous links was getting a little ugly so I'll let the navbar work for awhile and see what happens. Up to now people tend to find this site through long-tail keywords so the links in the sidebar is a moot subject as far as navigation.

All those warnings spooked me. When I built my first site many moons ago with Dreamweaver and even Frontpage there were tests built in to the software to analyze the site for broken links and a visual of your navigation.

My main site is that old and my linking system worked fine. If this was a real problem wouldn't an extensive sitemap be a problem? That could potentially be link loaded.

And you're absolutely correct - if they are helpful to the users than don't remove them - I always concentrate on ease of navigation for the user and page load speed. If you can't retain the visitor all the links in the world won't help or hinder.

Hi Kieran, I answer above to Thomas that I may very well stick to the <100 threshold but I doubt if any one site would exceed that.

Only one site actually had close to 100 links in the sidebar but this also happens to be my most successful site, it's also the oldest.

My backlinking efforts for this site has been extensive also, not so much with the others.

Since these niches have specific products they probably won't reach your threshold of 100 as I delete some products in favor of new ones so the net stays the same.

I will test a little without disrupting the navigation too much. Content is king in my book and I specialize in plenty of original content with matching products. That formula has been working I need to get busy on backlink efforts however.

All the links are unique to each product but because they are redundant I am beginning to remove them. I understand the point of having all pages linked to each other but with the sidebar redundancy and your example I suppose the link juice is better used elsewhere.

I really don't have related articles or most popular since these are niche sites I work very hard for original content to specific products. These aren't thin sites but they were created to provide relevant topics and reference with product that would exactly match the topics.

Adding value in information and driving traffic to the product for a sale. This formula has worked and since my indexing is very good I suppose I wasn't losing much.

The navigation bar is visible and leads users to specific criteria without misleading them.

I'm getting the warning of "Too many on-page links".

I have a number of affiliate marketing sites, all Wordpress, all with sidebars.

In the header navigation bar is a link that offers "reviews" and links to each product/brand. This is not a drop down link but leads to a page with product links.

Also, in the sidebar I have links that also lead to the products/brands. Redundant yes, but in the beginning this seemed to be a good practice in site design.

It would be easy to simply remove the widget that contains the link process in the sidebar. The problem may simply be that the sidebar is the same for every page in the site(s).

Is this hurting total SEO as my sites are all over 95-percent indexed.

One site in particular does very well in traffic and sales so is removing these links potentially going to improve my SEO and ultimately by success?

One problem with Wordpress Themes, and not all of them by any means, but they are set up for blogrolls or they list your pages/categories/archives (in my case all three).

With all the posts I have it seems dangerous to change themes at this point as the site may become non-recognizable or I may very well break what isn't necessarily broke.

As far as indexing goes I'm over 90-percent indexed, not bad when you consider the nature of the blog with block quotes that are not original content when added to enrich to full meaning of something I'm blogging about.

Another problem with these designs is you may show any number of posts per pages and Moz is crawling individual posts, pages with multiple posts and actually multiplying the number of posts reflecting duplicate content falsely. I'm also getting "too many links" notices because of the design. But I digress.

In my plugin I simply clicked archives and doubt it will make too much difference. Let's see if anyone else has some input.

I'm reading some reports from my first crawl of 10K pages and I'm wondering if it's wise to mark the archives "no-follow."

I have a WP tool that provides a tool that offers the no follow for categories or archives recommending to choose either one or the other but not both.

What would be the best solution?

That pesky Amazon cloud. Maybe a big Bingo. I will remove the blocked IPs from Amazon hosting. I had someone from those IPs slamming Google Ads so I blocked a big range all related to Amazon.

If the problem exists I'll reconstitute the block but for now let's see if removing them helps.

OK - I removed the motherload of IPs and I will come back and respond to the result after about 48 hours or sooner if I see positive results.

UPDATE: After removing the blocked IPs the site was crawled the max 10K pages.

UPDATE 2: The Adsense slammer returned under several different Amazon Cloud IPs so I had to block the full range again as I don't want to get banned by Google. No money registered only numerous ad clicks. This is unacceptable so I won't crawl this site.

The other 4 campaigns look to have gone through that starter crawl just fine, ergo, my question about that 5th campaign. I suppose if I don't see any action in a couple of more days I will indeed direct a question to the SEOMoz team but will leave this question open for a while also.

I set up my first 5 campaigns and one is not crawling beyond one-page. It's been over 48 hours.

This site has nearly 3.500 pages the others much less, however, this shouldn't make any difference.

I searched for the problem and couldn't find it so I hope this question isn't redundant.

Comments and advice would be appreciated.

I currently use All in One SEO and haven't had problems.

Now I'm seeing reviews for the Yoast plugin over All in One SEO.

I downloaded the Yoast Wordpress SEO but it seems to have far less features and settings unless Yoasts plugin is doing everything on auto-pilot I think fixing what isn't broke for me isn't an option unless someone can compare the two side by side and demonstrate why I should switch and how I could benefit.

In regard to updates, I get fairly frequent version updates from All In One SEO.

Gotcha - Absolutely correct, I'm just getting my feet wet. My initial campaigns have already provided some valuable insights so I'll look at the other tools and determine how I will use them to move my sites forward.

You mention "monitor them outside the scope of a Pro campaign." What specifically are you referring to? Other tools here or elsewhere?

Currently I have 15 affiliate marketing sites and three blogs which are monetized.

My budget dictates the base pro package so may I get some recommendations on how or if I can do analysis over time for all the sites.

I ask this because it seems you would set your campaigns for long-term but I imagine you delete/modify/add campaigns to analyze different key words.
