There has been talk about scholarships on the Q&A before, you might want to do a quick search. While I don't know about the paid link aspect, I do know that one of the concerns brought up before is making sure the scholarship is legal for both the school(s) its being offered for, and in the states its being offered to, that there isn't any discrimination and the like.

RE: Is WP okay for E commerce sites?
I use WP for our site strikemodels.com, with foxycart for ecommerce. It's not the best nor is it the worst solution. What are you trying to sell? Do you need to keep inventory? Deal with shipping? It's less of a great solution the more complex things get.

RE: Deleting a site
If you delete or archive, then you do free up another space for an active campaign.

RE: All my Moz Campaigns disappeared
Hi Clojo,
Just following up here and making sure you're able to see your campaigns now. Let me know if this is the case, or if we can lend a hand at all.
Thanks!

RE: I requested a new crawl, this was done but my dashboard only shows the crawl done last week?
Hi Chris,
Just wondering if everything is working for you now, or if we can help you at all?

RE: Help my site it's not being indexed
If it makes you feel any better, this is the solution about once a month in Q&A. You're not the first, and you certainly won't be the last!
-
RE: Help my site it's not being indexed
A suggestion for the future: use some type of code monitoring service, such as https://polepositionweb.com/roi/codemonitor/index.php (no relationship with the company, it's just what I use), and have it alert you to any changes in the robots.txt file on both the live and staging environments.
I was in a situation at a previous employment where the development team wasn't the best at SEO, and I had experienced the robots.txt from the dev site being put on the live site, and the other way around, and also things being added to or removed from the robots.txt without our request or knowledge. The verification files for Google and Bing Webmaster Tools would sometimes go missing, too.
I used that code monitor to check once a day and email me if there were changes to the robots.txt or verification files on the live site and the robots.txt of all of our dev and staging sites (to make sure they weren't accidentally indexed). Was a huge help!

RE: 503 error on Moz
Hi! These are actually two separate issues here.
This morning we had a problem where the blog was dead because of data we were trying to pull from an API that was unresponsive. We fixed that section of the code and it should be fine now.
We did have a problem with our cookies that we fixed about two days ago. That was causing people (staff too!) to get logged out all the time. If you manually log out and log back in, you should get the fixed cookie and everything should be OK.

RE: Moz Analytics bugs
If you can submit a ticket now from that URL with your actual question, that would be great. I'll look for it and make sure it comes through. Thanks!
-
RE: Moz Analytics bugs
Were you logged in at the time? Can you share with me (a PM is fine) what email you used as a contact email? I'm still looking in our system to try to find the ticket, and knowing if you were logged in or out, what account you used, etc. will help me troubleshoot. Thanks!
-
RE: Moz Analytics bugs
Can you share which URL you used to contact us? That way I can pass it along to our team and look into what's happening. Did you submit while you were logged into this account?

RE: How to rebound from a network wheel?
Have you checked out http://moz.com/blog/ultimate-guide-to-google-penalty-removal? It might have some useful ideas. Matt Cutts even gave it a tweet of approval.

RE: Happy Thanksgiving, Canuck Mozzers!
I do know there are other community members from Canada. Dana DiTomaso is one (you can see a great mozinar she did about citations at http://moz.com/webinars/you-probably-think-this-citation-source-is-about-you-dont-you). I'm guessing everyone else was busy enjoying dinner instead of being in Q&A. Maybe next month you'll all be busy in Q&A while we're eating?

RE: Duplicate Titles and Sitemap rel=alternate
I'm pretty sure that we don't look at the sitemap when determining duplicate content and titles, and am going to have someone from our help team confirm this.

RE: What Keeps In-House SEOs Up @ Night
Sorry you haven't gotten any responses here! Have you looked at anything Jessica Bowman has written, and seen if there are any chats on Twitter for in-house SEOs? I know Jessica leads the in-house SEO workshop for SMX (http://www.seoinhouse.com/exchange/) and has a lot of experience in that area.

RE: Moz Email Subscriptions
Those are a separate system right now, which we realize isn't the easiest way to manage things, and we're working on improvements. You can unsubscribe from the bottom of each newsletter, or drop us an email at emailmarketing@moz.com and we'll get everything switched over.
-
RE: Problems staying logged in (again)
We had a problem with a cookie, and rolled out a fix to it late yesterday afternoon. If you could click the logout button then log in again it should be fixed, as that will force the new cookie.

RE: Trending Bugs in Moz Analytics
To replace this trending bugs list, we've launched http://health.moz.com/. You can use this site to see our current status and know if you're not alone regarding a hiccup.
-
RE: Is the moz site down
Just wanted to let you know we've launched a site that will help answer this question! http://health.moz.com/ is where you can go to see if we have any known major or trending issues. We just launched it today, and hope it helps for the next time we have a glitch.
-
RE: Is Moz creating a Bunker-Mentality with its Customers?
I wanted to let everyone know that we just launched http://health.moz.com/. This lists the current trending issues at Moz, any information we have about a fix or ETA for a fix, and a direct link to the page to submit a ticket to the help desk. This is not hosted on Moz servers, so even if Moz itself is down, you'll be able to go here and see what's up.

RE: How to make client reports?
Hi Ken,
Did this take care of things for you? If you've created the account in Pro, you'll be able to switch back to it. If you created it in Moz Analytics, you won't be able to switch back to Pro, but we'll be having custom reports available in Moz Analytics soon. Drop me an email at keri@moz.com if you'd like to be an early tester for the new custom reports and I'll see if I can help you out there.
-
RE: Why does Moz Analytics drop my Google Analytics connection every time I login?
As a side note, we now have http://health.moz.com/ where we list trending issues like this, and in the case of the GA connection, the solution. We hope this will make it easier in the future when events like this happen.

RE: Huge in crease in on page errors
Hi Pete,
This is going to need a bit more digging than I can do from where I sit. I'm going to ask a colleague of mine to come in and lend you a hand. Thanks for your patience!

RE: Where did the Email Reports go?
This evening, there's nothing you can do to be able to access the reports for campaigns created in MA. If you want to help test our soft-launch of the MA custom reports (which is coming in the next few days, I believe), please send me an email at keri@moz.com and I'll see if I can make that happen for you, and I'll keep you updated on the status of the custom reports.
-
RE: Where did the Email Reports go?
Unfortunately, if you created the campaign in Moz Analytics, it won't be visible in Pro. Was this campaign created in MA or Pro?
-
RE: Where did the Email Reports go?
The Custom Reports are available if you switch over to the old Pro view. We're in testing right now for the new version of Custom Reports of Moz Analytics. If you are interested in getting an early look at what we're doing, send me a PM and I'll pass along your information.

RE: Huge in crease in on page errors
If you give him a 301 redirect it should help him, and the search engines, which is the most important part.
If you can touch base with your IT team and see if they changed something and ask them to change it back, that'd be a good place to start. If you can share your URL here, we can look at it and help direct you to the easiest way to fix things (if it is the www and non-www problem), or help identify the source of the problem.
-
RE: Huge in crease in on page errors
Hmmm...my first thought is that if it's sudden duplicate content and doubling of errors is that perhaps Roger found both the www and non-www versions of the site?
-
RE: Missing Dublin Core
The only time I used it is when I was working at a site in the educational field, and we used it to markup our lesson resources. We used it less for SEO and more for interoperability with our partners.

RE: Traffic Generation Visitor Exchange Systems & Google Algo / Punihsments
The traffic may be there, but is it traffic you want? Do the users have the right motivation to come to your site? What are the conversions like from this traffic?

RE: Not sure about reputable direcotries like Yahoo
One of the things that makes Yahoo different is that they do not accept every single link that is submitted -- there is human review, which does help in Google's eyes.

RE: New indepth page for content marketing - feedback?
Had to come and give a thumbs up to this question and to all of the responses. Thank you for all of the suggestions and improvements regarding this question. Coming in to Q&A and seeing responses like this is one of the reasons why I love working at Moz. Thank you to all of the community members who give so freely of your time and expertise in Q&A!

RE: Moz Analytics bugs
Hi Adam,
I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. We have a list of some known bugs at http://moz.com/community/q/trending-bugs-in-moz-analytics.
How are you contacting the support team? I took a look in our logs under your name, email, and nickname, and could only find a request from 2011 there. The best way to contact is at http://moz.com/help/contact or to email help@moz.com. If you can tell me how you contacted our team, or what email you used when you contacted, I can look into this more for you.

RE: Large-Scale Penguin Cleanup - How to prioritize?
Have you read the post at http://moz.com/blog/ultimate-guide-to-google-penalty-removal? Matt Cutts even called it out on Twitter as a good post. That's where I'd first look for ideas.
-
RE: Missing Dublin Core
Is this a Moz report, or a different report? I wasn't aware that we said a peep about Dublin Core.
-
RE: Is "commented out" text still read by the SEs?
Another possibility is that there is anchor text or citations pointing to that site that helps Google know it's related to that city, even if that city isn't mentioned on the site.
-
RE: How do I change back to a free membership?
Hi! I think I've identified one issue for you, and that's with our wording. "Downgrade" would mean going to a lower level of paid account. "Cancel" is actually what you're looking for, which will cancel your paid account, but keep your community account on Moz.
I'm asking our help desk to step in and discuss the other aspects of this question with you.

RE: How Is a Page Crawled by Moz When Moz Says 'No Links'?
If you download the CSV report, we list the referring page there. We know it isn't obvious and we're working on making this a little easier to find.
-
RE: How Is a Page Crawled by Moz When Moz Says 'No Links'?
We have two completely different crawling systems. We have on crawler for your website, where you enter in your URL and we crawl your site looking for problems. We have a different crawler for OSE that goes and looks at the web in general and crawls for links. The two crawlers do not talk to each other, so it is actually understandable that OSE may not have data on the site. OSE doesn't have the same index size as Google, so we don't see all the links that are actually out there (though we're working all the time on improving this!).
-
RE: Create content for long tail keywords.
If you go too cheap, you're going to get content that could do you more harm than good. I've had people in Q&A ask why a site wasn't ranking, and I went to look, and there was content like "think before you beverage" instead of "think before you drink".
-
RE: How to make client reports?
There should be a "switch to pro" option in the top left of your screen that you can use. Let me know if that's not there for you.
-
RE: Ranking not correct
Here's a bit more information on why rankings don't always match up. http://moz.com/help/pro/rankings.

RE: What To Do With Too Many Links?
Have you read Dr. Pete's post at http://moz.com/blog/how-many-links-is-too-many yet?
-
RE: When to Use Schema vs. Facebook Open Graph?
Just because you can't share doesn't mean people aren't going to share it on FB. Just yesterday, I shared http://www3.gehealthcare.com/en/Products/Categories/Accessories_and_Supplies/Adventure_Series_for_CT/Pirate_Island on FB with my friends. I don't have formal experience in this area, but did want to point that out. There was an article on slate.com about the design of these, and I went looking for more information, and found that page.

RE: On-Page grader
The upgrade hadn't yet happened when you posted this. I'm not aware of a criteria change, but will ask to see what could have caused this.
-
RE: SEO-Off Page
Harika,
The Product Support section is specifically for questions regarding Moz Products, including Moz Analytics. To ask questions about your own website and ranking (and not questions specifically about Moz products), you're going to need to take a free trial of Moz Analytics and ask the question in the main Q&A section.
We do have a lot of current information about learning SEO available at http://moz.com/learn/seo that can also help.
-
RE: SEO-Off Page
It's going to be fairly difficult without knowing more about the site, but I can certainly understand if you don't have permission to give out details. Here are a few things I'd check first:
Log into Google Webmaster Tools and see if there are any notices from Google. Has Google had trouble accessing your site because of a server outage? Is the robots.txt blocking important content? Is there a warning about unnatural links? Is there any issue with crawling your content? Do the same with Bing webmaster tools.
Is your content unique, or does it appear in many different places on the web?
Have you started a Moz Analytics campaign for this site, and looked at any crawl problems we might have identified?
-
RE: On-Page grader
We have upgraded the logic to our crawler, which can affect some of your reports. I'm going to talk with the engineer and see if it'd affect the on-page grader as well.
