A quick clarification, for others who might have the same question. You'll keep your MozPoints, but only have access to Q&A if you have over 500 MozPoints or have a paid account. Karl, you've got well over 500 MozPoints, so you'll still be able to use Q&A.
Moz Q&A is closed.
After more than 13 years, and tens of thousands of questions, Moz Q&A closed on 12th December 2024. Whilst we’re not completely removing the content - many posts will still be possible to view - we have locked both new posts and new replies. More details here.

RE: Going to Mozcon - what to do in Seattle
Hi Laura!
I just realized I met you without making the connection to your Moz profile. I was the moderator in the Q&A breakout sessions you were in for part of the afternoon. Nice to have met you!

RE: Backlinks through dofollow commenting
You might want to look through the other responses to this question, as this tactic isn't the best one for sustainable rankings. Also, if you are a photographer, are your customers coming from the sites of other photographers? You may want to target your efforts towards places that your customers are reading.

RE: How Do You Find the Total Search Volume for an Industry?
To add to Ryan's good answer here, I'm going to assume that you're asking about the storage industry, based on your profile URL. I wrote a post about finding negative keywords and used the examples of moving and storage companies, and highlighted some of the many alternate intents people could have when they search for storage (such as storage containers for their flour and sugar). If you need some other examples, check out the post at http://moz.com/blog/negative-keywords-for-positive-roi.

RE: How do you check the outbound links of a site?
Xenu Link Sleuth is also a good option.
