I have been developing web sites for many years and since 2005 I have been working freelance. I primarily use PHP and MySQL as the base for much of my work, occasionally foraying into ASP and SQL Server. I am also skilled with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

I have always had an interest in SEO and knew the basics about keywords, search engine friendly URL's, etc. but never took the time to learn about it properly until my clients began to start asking questions. In late 2008 I really started to invest time in researching and learning the more advanced topics of SEO and getting to grips with the various tools and utilities available to help in the day to day management of an SEO campaign.

I enjoy reading and spent quite a bit of time reading SEOmoz from the shadows before eventually signing up. I also enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge so hope that I can become a valuable member of the community.
