I've been working in web development since 1997 and researching search engine visibility strategies for clients in 2000. You may know me as "pleeker" on various web forums and mailing lists.

Prior to '97, I spent 7 years working in various "old media", including the L.A. Daily News and various small-market TV and radio stations as an on-air talent. Last media jobs were Sports Director / Anchor for KEPR-TV and host of a sports radio call-in show on KFLD-AM, both in Tri-Cities, Wash.

Happily married and blessed with two great kids. I'm the founder and editor of @U2 (www.atu2.com), the oldest independent site for U2 fans on the web.
