Hi Kenny, do you have any updates regarding the history issue with Rank Tracker?
I need to monitor many different websites for just a few keywords and Rank Tracker has been the tool I've been using for quite a while...
Thanks!
Mauro

Hi Michael, I think that in your case there should be no big difference between the two implementations.
It all depends on how it's structured and linked together, because, as you said, now Google tends to treat subdomains exactly the same as internal links. (Regarding this statement I must say that I've seen websites reacting in different ways and not always following what Google is telling us)
Of course in both cases you would definitely improve the domain authority, while you would have to work on linking well the blog with the website sections in order to pass link juice to the right pages.
Same here, I'm experiencing problems too (delays and sometimes not working). But I absolutely need the Rank Tracker functionality i.e. the possibility to check rankings instantly and for single pages of many different domains.
Please don't remove the tool or if you decide to do so try to transfer these features.
Thanks!
Ok, if any new content has been added to the main website I'd check if the linking structure has changed too. That means, for example, to check out if before you were linking the ranking pages from the index page or side wide and now, with the new content added, those links have gone or shifted to secondary locations.
While for the "link network" you should work also on gaining inbound links from other C-blocks so that you diversify and certainly acquire more trust.
Hi Netminds,
I'd check if any changes have been made to the internal link structure of your website. Is it blog (Wordpress) based?
Thank you for your update!
I agree with your tests and your solution is probably the best also from a user experience point of view: giving a nice description and useful links on category pages should improve the number of pageviews / time spent on site.
