RE: On-page Optimization empty
Hi there! This is Megan from SEOmoz. The On Page Tool only automatically runs reports on pages that are already ranking in the top 50 for one or more of your keywords. Thus, your On Page Rankings Reports update after your rankings update each week. If you have no pages ranking in the top fifty, then you'll have no automatically generated On Page Reports. If you have 30 pages ranking in the top fifty, then you should have 30 On Page reports.
You can always manually generate reports for any URL and one of your keywords. Simply go to the Report Card tab in the On Page section, and cut and paste or type a new URL into the URL drop box. Then select your keyword from the drop down and select "Grade My Optimization." After that, you can tell the Web App to start tracking that combination in the future, and you should start seeing weekly reports. You can learn more about on page reports here: http://www.seomoz.org/help/on-page-reports
I hope this helps!

RE: Keyword rankings tool is not working properly
Hi there! This is Megan from SEOmoz. I just checked out your campaign and I also did a search for "logo inspiration". I found your site currently ranking at #31 in Google US, but as mentioned in the other answers to this question, this ranking can fluctuate. Your next update is scheduled for this Saturday and I suggest checking your campaign rankings versus google on the same day as your keywords are updated. If you're still seeing any discrepancies, shoot us a message at help@seomoz.org and we'll look into it asap!
Cheers!

RE: Wednesday Webinar today?
Hi there! This is Megan from the SEOmoz. The Wednesday Webinars was a series of indepth tool webinars that we did over a couple of months, but we've stopped doing them because we weren't quite getting the attendance numbers we were looking for. We'll be revisiting this in the future to see if it's something we want to try again, though, so keep an eye out!
In the meantime, you can check out our help hub for any questions you might have about using our tools: http://www.seomoz.org/help
If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot us a message to help[at]seomoz.org.
Cheers!

RE: API and bitflag question
Hey Adam! I switched it to answered because, as Joel mentioned in his message, you'll be able to get the best response by posting your question to our Dev Discussion forum. I'm so sorry if I marked it as answered prematurely, though! I've switched it to unanswered if you need anything else that we can help you out with through this Q&A forum.

RE: API and bitflag question
Hi Adam! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. It looks like Joel responded to your ticket on November 26th. Maybe it went to your spam folder? Here's what he wrote:
"Hey Adam,
Thanks for reaching out.
First off, I would encourage you to post your question to our Dev Discussion forum: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293196-developer-discussion-group. Our engineering community monitors that and you will probably get a response within 48 hours. We prefer to do any API support through our forum because that way other people in the community can benefit from the discussion. Making the support scalable allows us to keep offering the API as a free service. I hope you understand.
That being said, I would spend more time reading through the APIwiki. This page: http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/response-fields explains more about the different response fields you're going to see.
Looking forward to seeing your post in the Dev Discussion group!
Best,
Joel"I hope this helps!

Hi alsvik!
This is Megan from this SEOmoz Help Team. We'd be happy to look in to any discrepancies to find out what's going on here. Can you send the keyword that's giving these weird results to help@seomoz.org? Once we have that, we'll check it out asap!

RE: Using api to find likes, tweets and shares
Hi Rightmove! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Unfortunately, our API doesn't provide any social data. Sorry about that! All the data we currently provide for social metrics is from 3rd party APIs. Here's what we use:
-
Facebook data is from Facebook Query Language (FQL)
-
Google Plus and Buzz data is from Google API to Buzz.
-
Twitter data is from Tweetmeme.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to send us a message to help@seomoz.org.
Cheers!

RE: Still Getting Error while checking Rankings
Hi Arfath,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz help team. Sorry about that error message! It looks like it was happening for keywords that hadn't updated yet, but I've gone ahead and manually pushed them through so you shouldn't be having this problem any more. If you are, please send us a message to help@seomoz.org and we'll look in to it asap!

RE: Export & Email Keyword Report for Selected Tags
Hi there! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Unfortunately, we don't offer the option to export keywords to a report for specific tags, but I think this is a really great idea that would be perfect to post on our feature request forum: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests
You can vote for features you'd like to see and suggest your own, both of which help us determine what to build next. Add your request there and hopefully we'll see it come to fruition sometime down the line.
Thanks!

RE: Analysing more than 5 keywords?
Hi Yves! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Unfortunately, we don't offer the option to analyze more than 5 keywords at a time using our Keyword Analysis tool. I'm really sorry about this! I think this would be a great option to have, though, and is perfect to post on our feature request forum: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests

RE: Dear Support, my client is a large bank and his site is https. and seomoz does not give any data. what can i do ? thank you
Hi Marton! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. I'm so sorry that we're late to answer this question! If you have questions about our tools in the future, feel free to send a message to help@seomoz.org for a quicker response.
The crawler that we use for OpenSiteExplorer unfortunately does not crawl https at this time, but we do plan on changing this at some point down the line. Our campaign crawler, however, does crawl https, so you'll still be able to find out information like if your site has any 404 errors, duplicate page content, missing title tags, etc.
I hope this helps!

RE: Local SEO Rankings Report Tools (based on several locations)?
Hi Greg! This is Megan from the SEOmoz help team. If you start a campaign, our rankings section can track local rankings for keywords. You would just need to enter the keywords separately with each of the towns you're interested in. For example, if I wanted to track local rankings for 'pizza' in different cities in the Northwest, I would need to enter the keywords like the following:
portland pizza
seattle pizza
olympia pizza
tacoma pizza
Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with other tools that will track local rankings, but hopefully this will help!
Cheers!

RE: Why are results different on Rank Tracker tool and New Rankings Weekly Reports?
Hi Prime85! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Sorry to hear about the discrepancies between your campaign rankings and rank tracker! We'd love to take a look at this to see what's going on. Can you send an email to help[at]seomoz.org with the following information?:
1. Campaign name
2. Keyword examples
3. Ranking in campaign vs. rank tracker
Once we receive the above information, we'll check it out asap! Thanks!

RE: Ranking History Reports
Hi greenhornet77! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. We have a couple of options within the campaign for keeping tabs on your keyword ranking history. One is that you can click on a keyword from the campaign rankings page to go to a historical graph that can be exported to a PDF. You can also export your entire keyword ranking history to a CSV from the top of the main rankings page. The last option is that you can create a weekly rankings report from the reporting section of your campaign. You can learn more about rankings in our help hub: http://www.seomoz.org/help/rankings
I hope this helps!

RE: Does anybody really think that SEOMoz provides much value?
Hey everyone! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. I really like the discussion that's happening here. There are some great points coming from all sides! I thought I'd just chime in with a couple of quick things. First off, if you're ever seeing any discrepancies with our tools, please PLEASE send your information with examples over to help[at]seomoz.org so we can look in to it. We definitely want to see what's going on and make sure it's not a bug that could potentially be affecting a lot of customers. Secondly, it sounds like everyone is getting a different benefit out of PRO, which is great to see because there are a lot of different tools and it can be hard to focus on all areas at once. The important part is that you feel you are getting some benefit out of your subscription. Learning to get the most out of our tools can be tricky, and we're working on making these benefits more clear. One way is through our new Wednesday Webinars, which is a weekly 30 minute webinar with an in depth focus on an individual tool. We just posted the last 3 recorded sessions today, so check them out if you have time: http://www.seomoz.org/dp/wednesday-webinar. We've also been working hard on creating content for our help hub: http://www.seomoz.org/help. You can watch quick videos on how to use our tools, read about their features, and find out some PRO tips.
I hope this is helpful! Thanks everyone for your contributions.

RE: What is the easiest way to track historical ranking across keywords?
Hi David,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. You can view historical ranking graphs, like the one that Maurizio attached, by clicking on any of your keywords within your campaign. You can also export your entire ranking history to a CSV from the export box at the top of the rankings page. I hope this helps!

Hi Maurizio,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. The information in the on-page report card will update weekly. If you'd like to see results right away, though, you can use our stand alone tool for the most up to date information: http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/on-page-keyword-optimization/new
I hope this helps!

RE: Account Questions - Is there a Share of Voice Feature?
Hi Robert! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Unfortunately, we don't have a share of voice feature. Sorry about that! I think this is a great idea, though, that would be perfect to post on our feature request forum: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests

RE: Integration of Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube?
Hi Jake,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. We definitely plan on adding Google+ to the campaign social section in the near future (sorry, I don't have an exact eta). As for other social networks, we're hoping to at least start including some kind of integration with our tools. You can follow this thread from our feature request forum for updates: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/20901363-g-linkedin-youtube-integration
Cheers!

RE: Feature request: Additional user logins to view campaigns
Hi Tim!
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. We definitely plan on adding multiple logins at some point, but we don't have an exact eta. We're hoping for sometime in Spring of 2013. You can keep an eye on this thread from our feature request forum for updates: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/20199538-is-there-a-way-i-could-add-another-user-to-access-my-pro-account

RE: Why does the CSV report on OSE limit the number of links I can download to less than it should?
Hi Acorn Stairlifts! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. The drastic difference in the number of links going to www.acornstairlifts.co.uk in OSE versus the export is because we'll only show you the top 25 links per domain. Our API currently has a total limit of up to 10,000 links for any domain (100.000 for advanced reports), so we only show the top 25 because if, for example, someone has 500,000 links and most of them are from the same domain, then we wouldn't want to fill up all 10,000 links with the same domain information and leave out important links from other domains. Instead, we'll only show the top 25 based on page authority so we can show the links from other sites without the same domain taking up all 10,000 spaces. In other words, we want to show you your link diversity.
I hope this helps!

RE: Affiliate Program
Hi Michael! This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Sorry to hear it's taking a long time to get approved for the affiliate program! If you email affiliate@seomoz.org, someone should be able to get back to you with an update on your status.

RE: SEO Web Crawler IP addresses
Hi Jason,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Unfortunately, since we crawl from the cloud, RogerBot's IP address is changing all of the time so we cannot specify a particular IP address. Also, we do need the site to be live before we can crawl it, but you could remove the firewall and block all other bots except rogerbot so it won't get indexed anywhere else before it's ready.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: Using the On-Page optimization Report Card
Hi kadesmith!
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. If you want to remove a report that you're not interested in, you can click on the keyword and choose the option to 'stop running weekly'.
Also, you can always manually generate reports for any URL and one of your keywords. Simply go to the Report Card tab in the On Page section, and cut and paste or type a new URL into the URL drop box. Then select your keyword from the drop down and select "Grade My Optimization." After that, you can tell the Web App to start tracking that combination in the future by selecting the option to 'run this report weekly', and you should start seeing weekly reports. I hope this helps! If you have more questions about On-Page reports, you can check out this help resource here: http://www.seomoz.org/help/on-page-reports

RE: Slowing down SEOmoz Crawl Rate
Hi corwin,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. I'm sorry if roger is being a bit too aggressive. We built our crawler to obey robots.txt crawl-delay directives. If you ever need to speed him down (though he's usually well-behaved), just add a crawl delay directive to your robots.txt file like this:
User-agent: rogerbotCrawl-delay: 1
Here's a good article that explains more about this technique: http://tools.seobook.com/robots-txt/
I hope this helps!
Cheers

RE: Reset Crawler
Hi ForzaHost!
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. I see that you've opened a ticket that my colleague, Chiaryn, is working with you on. We'll be following up with you in the ticket instead so we can look at your campaign specific information and help figure out what's happening.

RE: Find New Keywords Tool - Information is not accurate
Hi Jacob,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. I spoke with one of our engineers and found that the rank section of 'Find New Keywords' isn't referring to rank in the traditional sense related to the SERPs. What the 'rank' refers to in this instance is the rank of that keyword within the keywords sending traffic to your site. So, "Speak Creative Memphis." is 4th in sending you the most traffic out of the keywords on the list based on the number of visits last week.
Sorry this is confusing! I'll definitely see what we can do about making this more clear.
Cheers!

RE: Rogerbot getting cheeky?
Hi BM7,
I'm going to open up a ticket on this to have our engineers take a closer look at your site. Once we have an overall response, I'll post it here for other community members to view.
Cheers!
-
RE: Rogerbot getting cheeky?
Hi there,
This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. I'm so sorry Rogerbot is causing you grief! This actually might be happening because your crawl delay is too long, so rogerbot just ends up ignoring it so he can complete the crawl. If you set your crawl delay to a max of 7, then it should solve your problem. If you're still running into issues, though, please send us a message to help@seomoz.org and we'll check it out asap!
Cheers!
