I'm doing some consulting for WP Engine now (helping with SEO and general marketing), and I can definitely say I recommend them. As to how fast they are, do a speed test here: http://speed.wpengine.com/

You can even mirror your site at WP Engine over their 14-day trial, and run the speed test on your .wpengine.com site vs. your current site to see if it really works well. Their support people are generally helpful in helping you tweak/optimize your site, as well.

About the only negative I would say with WP Engine is that they really don't support anything outside of WordPress. But if you have a main site or even a blog that's all WordPress, and it gets a fair amount of traffic, they are definitely worth a look!

We built our own rank tracking system (actually getting ready to release this as a separate product within the next couple weeks.) I have checked manually with a non-logged-in Google search and our rank tracker is accurate.

Hi! I run a backlink building company. Recently, we had a customer who had us build targeted backlinks to certain subpages on his site. Then something really bizarre happened...all of a sudden, their subpages that were indexed in Google (the ones we were building links to) disappeared from the index, to be replaced with their home page. They haven't lost their rank, per se--it's just now their home page instead of their subpages.

At this point, we are tracking literally thousands of keywords for our link building customers, and we've never run into this issue before. Have you ever run into it? If so, what's the best way to handle it from an SEO company perspective?

They have a sitemap.xml and their GWT account reports no crawl errors, so it doesn't seem to be a site issue.

I'm just getting familiar with all of the cool tools on SEOMoz PRO. There's a lot to use on the pro members area of the site!

What are the best tools,etc.? Or is it more about just joining the community and participating? What is your favorite part of SEOMoz PRO?
