I'm also working on one website which is related to health news. Since 2015 its spam score is 1% which is considered to be a low spam score.
Generally, when you start with a fresh and new website. It will show the 1% spam score. However, if your new website shows a spam score of more than 10% then look at the 27 factors or signals to determine spam score by moz.
