RE: Domain stuck at end of SERPs for main keywords
On the analytics side, the only real data is the complete drop in Google organic visits, everything else looks normal and consistent with other sites that perform fine.
On the webmaster side, there is no data or information which would indicate what the problem is. I did do a reconsideration request, but the message was that there was no manual spam penalty, only algorithmic ranking. There are no, and have been no, messages from Google that anything is wrong.
I have tried changing titles, descriptions, sitemaps, page structure, page content, outbound links, inbound links, adding unique content, removing duplicate content, deindexing weak content, deindexing all content, reindexing all content, fixing html, validating html, breaking pages, fixing pages I broke. Nothing seems to change the results.
The filter seems to work on searches that have some volume, as it will still rank for an occasional obscure long tail keyword phrase for a while and then fade from that search as well.

RE: Wrong sitelinks & landing pages in Google
Hard to say without looking at the pages in question. Are the landing pages indexed?
Some ideas as to why this might be happening:
- the blog pages have better on page SEO than the landing pages - titles, descriptions etc.
- the blog has a sitemap listing the blog's pages, but not the landing pages
- internal links don't point to the landing pages
- some sort of page header problem on the landing pages but not the blog pages
- broken html on the landing pages, but not the blog pages
- rss based links back to the blog pages

Domain stuck at end of SERPs for main keywords
I'm trying to figure out why a site has been stuck at the end of the SERPs for almost a year. On August 5, 2011 the site went from getting 1,400 visits per day from Google down to 20 visits a day from Google. For the keywords it ranked on the first page for it went to the last page in the SERPs. With Panda and Penguin, it probably wouldn't rank like it used to, but it seems to be stuck in some sort of domain wide penalty that pins it to the end of the SERPs. Even when completely new content will show up at the end of the SERPs, which makes me think it's stuck in some sort of filter. Thanks in advance for any constructive ideas.

RE: Why is my key word rank so horrible?
I would suggest nofollow/noindex your tag pages. A search for site:www.yakangler.com tag yields 73,800 pages. In my experience G does not like tags.
