Things like this make me proud about the Moz community!!
Great job Rick!!
I hadnt seen the update over Disquss at the end of the post.
Please, post all your advances on this topic Ahirai
Best regards!
Hi Upcounsel
Since that isn´t part of site´s hierarchy, enfasizing the importance of that element over the URL´s content, i would avoid the use of that H1 tag; it will never help and is gonna limit your content from having a good defined hierarchy
Well....as Fredrik says....you already knew this one!
Best!
Hi ahirai,
I was gonna say you should check the linked from tab in GWT but since you actually did it, for me its pretty sure that a plugin that drives content is creating this issue from scratch.
Since i´m neither an apache expert, i can´t give you a method to do the dirty work, but i can tell you the problem is created by some 3rd party plugin driving content of site.
Please, post your advances in the topic!
Good luck!!
Hi KLLC, ¿It appears at seomoz campaign report under crawl errors? If are shown under "notice" its Ok. If not, please provide more details to understand better the problem. Best regards
Hi again Bilal
Please provide more information then... There is a wrong url of that url is the homepage instead?
What do you want to do exactly?
Hi again Scott,
I would emphasize more the car´s brand but since there is no need to navigate trough those landings to select your brand, template usage its fine.
Kind regards
Hi Scott:
Does those landing pages have correlations with ecach other? Users should navigate trough one or more of those landing pages to buy the product? If so, i would highly recommend to customize every template to the product in question. If not, there is no problem for using the same template IMO.
Kind regards
Hi Bilal
Log in to Google webmaster tools and navigate to "optimization", then, url removal; Enter the URL you want to delete and wait some days!!!
Kind regards
Hi Benver;
Domain Authority isnt a factor that you could pay attention "for 2 weeks", since domain authority is a long term game.
In Fact, the index data that shows your domain authority is refreshed almost monthly, so its really a nonsense to center your activity in that domain for that amount of time.
Just reconsider your timeplan, and continue creating good backlinks without the intention "to increase domain authority in 2 weeks!"
Kind regards
Hi again! Nope. You need to browse to the titles and metas section, then taxonomies. You will find the option there, and mark no index follow. Volia!!
The wordpress SEO by yoast has a feature to no index/ no follow (or both) tag pages.
Install the plugin and just mark those pages with a no index tag.
Ill add a screen capture but doing some search you will find lots of advanced tutorials to go deep with the plugin. Is worth to spend some time with because its really good!
Good luck!
Exactly, OSE refers to an unique URL, and the version without "www" its another one
Yes, you should wait to a recrawl at least to worry about it.
Submit a sitemap trough WMT if possible and check back the SERP results in 1 or 2 days
Keep us informed to see if we can help further!
if you do a site search, there arent issues with metas (well, the main URL doesnt show first...thats should be a problem)
Instead, you should try with a query for the domain name, and you wil see it!
When was that solved in google webmaster?
its absolutely that after having some issues with robots or google deindexing some url, the title or description doesnt appear in the SERPs, but after recrawling the site, it should appear as it was.
If you solved that in WMT long ago it could be something completely different.
So, has the site been recrawled twice since the issue was solved?
