Google shows "searches related to keyword" at the bottom of the SERPs for some queries. On what basis does Google shows this ? search volume ?

Google local - is 7 pack really gone
According to a searchengineland post, Google has replaced "7 pack" results. But they are still appearing for local queries. Like for query "pizza restaurant new delhi" ( in Google.co.in ), i can still see 7 pack results.
Has local and general search algorithms merged ?

RE: Robots.txt and canonical tag
If spiders follow links to an article on my site, will they read the contents then ? If the canonical tag is on article page itself, will canonical tag will be seen ?
-
RE: Robots.txt and canonical tag
Thanks Daylan for your quick response. I just wanted a second opinion that canonical tag will never be seen if a page is disallowed.

.Nofollow and link count
If i use nofollow on links ( internal or external ), will it reduce the link count as regard to Google. If there are 50 external links, and i nofollow 20 of them, will Google count this as 30 external links.

Robots.txt and canonical tag
In the SEOmoz post - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/robot-access-indexation-restriction-techniques-avoiding-conflicts, it's being said -
If you have a robots.txt disallow in place for a page, the canonical tag will never be seen.
Does it so happen that if a page is disallowed by robots.txt, spiders DO NOT read the html code ?

RE: Will Google Visit Non-Canonicalized Page Again and Return Its Page's Original Ranking?
One more question. If page A has been canonicalized to page B, will Page A rank ? As according to search engines, Page B is the preferred page Now. I know it may seem innocuous query to you. But would like to know ?

Are URL's with trailing slash seen as two different URLs
Hello,
http://www.example.com and http://ww.example.com/
Are these seen as two different URL's ? Just as with www or non www ?
Or it doesn't make any difference ?

RE: Sessions in GA - need clarifications
Thanks Understood.
Also, if a visitor closes his browser before 30 minutes, would sessions continue ?
What if he closes the browser after 30 minutes ?
-
RE: Sessions in GA - need clarifications
Thanks Daylan for your quick response. What is meant by "server time of the site as per the analytics account settings". Where can we see those in GA ?
-
Sessions in GA - need clarifications
Hello,
Regarding recent change in how Google now defines a session...
If a user visits a site from a different traffic source (say Google and Bing ) within 30 minutes, would that show 2 visits now ?
Was earlier it considered 1 visit ?
Also, sessions ends "at the end of the day" It can be different for different users ? How does Google defines end of the day ? for USA time ?
Thanks

RE: Zero visits from keyword in Google Analytics
Thanks Devin.
If i understood you correctly, GA is attributing the visit to a different keyword ( other than "business engagement in outsourcing" )
