Hi there,
Factual doesn’t have an “add your business” feature. To get your listing added, you email them and they’ll create a listing for you.
Before emailing them, I’d suggest first checking closely to see if you’re already listed by searching here: http://www.factual.com/data/t/places. If you are listed, you can login and additional details to the listing – look for the little “edit” tag on the right side of the map. It’s cool how they show you the sources of the listing data under the “Crosswalk” section.
If you’re not listed, look at all the other listings to see what fields they accept and make sure you include all the applicable fields when you email them.
When you’re sure you’re not already listed, and you have gathered all the information needed for your listing, email them at datacontributions@factual.com to request adding your business to their database.
There is a excellent post that explains everything that you need www.localvisibilitysystem.com/2013/09/24/how-to-add-your-business-to-factual/
Hope it helps you.

Hi there,
Here are some of the most common reasons for search engines to rank a less relevant page above a more relevant one.
Internal Anchor Text .
External Link Bias
Link Authority & Importance Metrics
On-Page Optimization
Improper Redirects
Topic Modeling / Content Relevance Issues
You can find out more details right here moz.com/blog/wrong-page-ranking-in-the-results-6-common-causes-5-solutions

Hi there,
Moz doesn't provide historical info of metrics like DA or PA.
Many SEO's use Searchmetrics visibility tool. But this tool only provides a rough estimate of a domains visibility in search results over time, it's proved valuable in detecting penalties and changes in search volumne for sites over time, although it works best with large sites.
Majestic SEO also provides historical link history. Access is limited with a free account, but paid accounts are generally reasonable.
Hope it helps you.
Hi there,
There are a lot of options, but there's serious danger in using the wrong structures.

Hi there,
Alexa is very inaccurate. For the top 50k site in the world its it can be in the right ball park, But for you average Kononen its way off. Just by installing Alexa toolbar yourself and visiting your own site can make you site jump by 10ks in the rankings.
Semrush would be a better alternative, but ultimately your own analytics and a good rank checking software is a far better way to measure your sites growth.
Hope it helps you.
There is no absolute truth, you have to see what example works better for each case.
Yes, i think starting with a research on targeted businesses/clubs will be the best idea, then you can try to apply some of these cases.
I let you my bible:
Call them - Get them on the phone. Make them hear your voice and know that you're a real person. I did it with some clients and i got great results.
Sometimes a good comment on a blog that makes a difference can help you build the relationship you want.
Interviews-Normally companies like to be interviewed, so take the advantage of this and make some. Remember to give them a mention when you gonna share that content on your social networks, they will be happy to share it.
Random acts of kindness - Whenever you can, be nice to people. It might just payoff. Always be on the lookout for helping those in need. These random acts can turn into lasting relationships.
Give a crap - Actually care about people. Show them you're not just a bot with a picture, but that you're somewhat human. If they share on Twitter that their daughter just graduated, congratulate them. Something as simple as that can open up your chances to build a relationship in the future.
Participate - If someone is conducting a survey or testing something, get involved and participate. Those are great chances to start conversations with new people.
Local meetups - Whether you find one or start one, meetups are a fantastic way to get to know people close by.
User group meetings - A great way to get to know people who think like you is by finding those who use the same products or services like you..
Conferences - Seriously, go to them.
G+ Hangouts/Skype - Be the first person to use a Google+ hangout! But seriously, that or Skype is a great way to meet face to face with someone without actually meeting face to face (if that makes any sense!).
Twitter RTs, Responses, & DMs - If you want to get to know someone on Twitter, first retweet them a few times. Then respond a couple times to a few of their tweets, then continue the conversation as direct messages. Finally, ask to email (because 140 characters is never enough), and now you've got the ball rolling.
Answer questions - Answer questions on Twitter, Quora, and anywhere else people hang out. People ask questions all the time. These external opportunities are a great way to put you on their radar.
Note: don’t think of it as a short-term input & short-term output, especially if you’re a marketing agency. More so, realize that these relationships can be tapped into for multiple links (i.e. for different campaigns, clients, etc.), as well as for other marketing opportunities (i.e running a joint-contest).

Hi there,
What I would do would be to start contacting them by facebook, twitter or other social networks. On twitter mentions work very well especially if you have written an article that you talk about them.
Buil relations, not backlinks- Instead of focusing on getting more and more backlinks, try to focus on creating relations.
being proactive in a community – actively commenting and participating in discussions
social media interaction – sharing valuable content and commenting on the topic in social media
creating content – it’s always good to add new value or fresh thoughts to the community
Hope it helps you.
Hi there,
I they said before, the best option is: option 1.
Here you can find out more information how to getting started with urls moz.com/learn/seo/url

Hi there,
The first thing you'll need to do is understand which of your pages are your best-assisting website pages.
Once you've set up conversion tracking, you'll have access to a handy set of reports about your conversions(those important actions your customers take on your website, such as a purchase or email signup).
These reports are called Search Funnels. Think of them as passages (or funnels) through which your customers complete a conversion.
Search Funnels can give you more detailed information about ads, clicks, and other elements that are part of your online campaign.
This gives you a better sense of your customers and, ultimately, the effectiveness of the ads and keywords you've created.
Anyway yo can find all the details here https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722023?hl=en

People who do SEO knows both techniques, and every single person must hire as needed. Ask for budgets and compare the services you get. If you're not convinced, then look for another.

Hi there,
Google provides some clear guidelines to make sure we all know how they want us to manage redirections.
301 – Search Engines: Your page is no longer available, and has permanently moved to a new page. Please remove it from your index and pass credit to the new page.
When to use 301
Canonical – (most) Search Engines: You have multiple versions of this page (or content), only index this version. You will keep the others available for people to see, but don't include them in your index and pass credit to your preferred page.
When to use canonical:

Hi there,
This is a long disputed question in the search marketing community, the answer of which depends not only on how different search engines treat keywords in your domain name, or URL, but also the size of your advertising budget, and other factors.
While it may be true that search engines take into account keywords in your domain name, it’s important to consider how much traffic that will really get you in the long run. At the time of this writing, domain names have become quite sparse, and the odds of registering a domain name that also has high search volume for its keywords is slim.
3 tips to choosing your domain name:

Hi there,
Google says in their guidelines: The time it takes Googlebot and our systems to discover and process all URLs in the site move depends on how fast your servers are and how many URLs are involved. As a general rule, a medium-sized website can take a few weeks for most pages to move, and larger sites take longer. The speed at which Googlebot and our systems discover and process moved URLs depends the number of URLs and the server speed.

Hi again,
I've found that Facebook and much social media marketing is a process, you can't expect huge results right away. If you do follow steps similar to this, over time you will build your audience and reach the people that you ultimately are targeting and have an audience that will engage with the content the way you are wanting them to.
Think for a moment about some of the last items you commented on. What were they? The general population is going to comment on and share things that involvehumor and stories they connect with, or items that touch them emotionally and inspire them in some way.
All of us who manage Facebook Pages need to find a way to enter the world of the Facebook user once again with fresh eyes.
Here are some tips but you may already know them:

Hi there,
See here - I think Moz Analytics/PRO don't process rel=prev/next properly, so they may give false alarms on those pages, even if the titles are properly implemented.
Cheers
I mean both two solutions are good but if you have a static text in the home would be the best choice because google loves textual links and will also help you to rank the related words.
Hope it helps you.
Hi there,
Link to the sidewide not going to harm your site and less if they are related theme.
If you have the possibility to insert a static text link from the homepage would be ideal as it would have more value.

Hi there,
When organising your site infrastructure to manage multilingual versions of your site and adapt content for different country targets, there are three main hosting options:
As each has unique pros and cons, the option you choose will depend largely on the size of your organisation, the locations of your likely target market, and of course your budget.
If you choose the best, most practical option, it will complement your other efforts and add up to a whole that boosts your immediate rankings and sets the foundation for a long-term international SEO strategy
We have an exceptional international seo checklist guide in moz that you can see here moz.com/blog/the-international-seo-checklist and if you want to extend this information about the domains will be very useful to read this one http://www.searchenginejournal.com/seo-without-boarders-a-guide-to-international-seo-nick-paterman/60092/

Hi there,
Because you can edit goals, you can always reuse the slots being occupied by inactive goals. If you do this, remember that the previous goal data for the inactive goal will still be in your reports. This can be confusing and misleading, as you may see goal completions for your new goal that were really goal completions for the old goal.
There are three things you can do to limit the confusion:
1. Don’t re-purpose goal slots. Just mark them as inactive.
2. If you must re-purpose goal slots, try to keep the new goals as similar to the old goals as possible.
3. Use the annotations feature in your reports to keep track of any changes you’ve made to your goals. It would also be thoughtful of you to email anyone who uses the reports to notify them of the change.
Hope it helps you.
Hi ArthurRadtke,
In theory, a well-coded and optimized HTML site will perform as well as pages from a well-designed CMS site in organic search rankings.
Some of the most important HTML elements to achieve SEO success.
HTML title tag: They have always been and remain the most important HTML signal that search engines use to understand what a page is about. Bad titles on your pages are like having bad book titles.
Meta Description tag: If the HTML title is the equivalent to a book title, the meta description is like the blurb on the back describing the book.
Header tags: Header tags are a formal way to identify key sections of a web page.
Structured Data: The result of structured data often translates into what is called a ‘rich snippet‘
Hope it helps you.
Hi there,
I think it would improve page load if the youtube video was the last to load.

Hi there,
A search term can be made up of a combination of keywords. The keyword proximity refers to the distance between the search term’s individual keywords. For example: a website contains the keywords that make up the search term “New York Lawyer” in the sentence “New York Lawyer Blake Discher specializes in corporate litigation”. The search term proximity between “New York” and “Lawyer” is excellent, zero words, but between “Lawyer” and “corporate” it is four words. The smaller the distance between a search term’s individual keywords, the more relevant it will be from a search engine’s point of view.
From an SEO standpoint, the sentence in italics above would be better written, “ _New York Lawyer Blake Discher _creates images for blah, blah, blah.” In this way all three of the search phrase words the searcher entered are next to one another.
Hope it helps you.
Hi there,
I would suggest you specifically look at competitive intelligence tools like compete.com or semrush as they can provide somewhat accurate estimates.
But there are a lot of online tools and services that provide traffic volume estimations for keywords. They differ in many aspects – different solutions have different interfaces with different additional options available. They also use different data sources. Therefore, the best option would be to check your keywords with several solutions and compare the results. If you have no time for that – you should select the most reliable source for your estimates and stick to it.
First of all, these estimates do not take into account click distribution between different TOP positions. Even if you are ranked TOP 1 for some particular keywords, you won’t gather 100% of the traffic. Some part of the traffic will go to Google Local Business. And one more thing that cannot be predicted in advance: any keyword traffic estimator gives data about how much time a particular keyword was entered into the search field, but it cannot tell between real users and automated seo tools that check positions of a particular website for a particular keyword.
Hope it helps!
How it works:
After crawling a website with Screaming Frog, export the data into one of the three available file formats (.csv, .xls, or .xlsx).
Copy all of the data from the Screaming Frog worksheet (starting in cell A4) into cell A2 of the ‘data’ sheet of this analysis workbook.
If this data does not align properly, then there is an added or missing column of data which you will need to adjust for in the ‘data’ spreadsheet.
Report tab
The reporting tab is set up to make customizing this report for each website as easy as possible.
Hope it helps you.
Hi there,
DA is a fantastic metric to compare domain strength and judge their overall backlink profile and ability to rank. However, it is not a good metric to Trend to show domain improvement. Simply put, the metric data set is different with every Linkscape update.
If you go to the Open Site Explorer homepage, you will see that the recent crawl contains 189 billion URLs. That's an amazing number. Their next crawl could theoretically cover 238 billion URLs. You may have hundreds of additional backlinks found in those extra 3 billion pages crawled. Your DA goes up, despite you doing nothing to the website. Most likely, your competitors DA goes up as well.
The next update may only crawl 179 billion URLs. It doesn't crawl 100s of pages with your links. Your DA goes down. So do your competitors.
Simply put, it is a sample size of backlinks. It is great for comparing one domain to another, due to the data being based off of the same sample size. It's great for competitor insights and analysis.
When your DA goes down, that doesn't necessarily mean your site is less authoritative. If you still have links pointing to your website, you don't lose that equity because Moz had a smaller crawl. Remember, DA is a marketing metric, but not a Google ranking factor.
Hope it helps you
Hi anirbandas,
10 million are a lot of pages ... First of all, still researching and double check to see which is the intent of these links.
You can do any of the options that you have been recommended above, or monitor these links and if you see something strange disavow tool using Google.
Good luck
Hey,
I used to have the same problem with some backlinks til i´ve found this script that helps me not to replicate the url from my backlink to all the pages around the site.
If you want to try it. Hope it helps you.

Hi there,
One of the most important reasons is:
Google Starts Giving A Ranking Boost To Secure HTTPS/SSL Sites
Google has announced that going HTTPS — adding a SSL 2048-bit key certificate on your site — will give you a minor ranking boost.
Google says this gives websites a small ranking benefit, only counting as a “very lightweight signal” within the overall ranking algorithm. In fact, Google said this carries “less weight than other signals such as high-quality content.” Based on their tests, Google says it has an impact on “fewer than 1% of global queries” but said they “may decide to strengthen” the signal because they want to “encourage all website owners to switch from HTTP to HTTPS to keep everyone safe on the web.”
You can find more about The Big List of SEO Tips and Tricks for Using HTTPS on Your Website: http://moz.com/blog/seo-tips-https-ssl

Hi there,
Crawling and indexing are processes which can take some time and which rely on many factors. In general, we cannot make predictions or guarantees about when or if your URLs will be crawled or indexed.

Hi Andy,
Yes I had noticed. Lately Google was not caching pages but it seems that since yesterday has returned to normal. At least with my pages.
Hi,
I dont think so. The most important thing is the canonical, if your canonical matches your keyword you do not have nothing to worry about. The breadcrumbs are useful for navigation but if you are using them for seo purposes, you must know that they do not need to match your exact keyword. Google is more semantic than ever.
Hope it helps.
I have checked the pages as Jeff did and it looks everything is ok. So may be is an error from moz report because if you do the page analysis with moz bar, shows everything is ok.
Good luck
Hi there,
It means how many times people are seeing the information of an especific product from your ecommerce, you can track all this information to make a better marketing campaings.
Good luck.
Hi there,
I have seen this tactic for years aswell. The thing is that it works very well for some. Some people will say that you have to remove them quickly because you are going to be penalised. But i have seen many big brands doing link wheels for all their sites, and they never have been penalised.
I presume your competitor is doing this because he wants to get more authority in his page referring authority sites in the niche.
For me the thing that you have to check is the quality of the backlinks, using the moz tools. Anyway keep an eye on them and if you see anything weird, write the webmaster and ask him to remove your links.
Good luck
Hi there!
Clean URLs are preferred by people, and it just so happens that search engines prefer them as well. Keywords in URLs are, more often than not, used to identify the relevance of a page when a search for a particular keyword is performed. However, it is not generally recommended to stuff keywords in your URLs for SEO purposes. The idea is to deliver enhanced usability to help users remember and share your URLs more easily. At the same time, clean URLs also facilitate a search engine’s ability to identify the relevance of page content to a particular search query, in order to choose what to display in search results.
So yes, it´s better if you modify all of them and make it clean.
Good luck
Hi fionadoggett,
The thing is that you do not need to tell Google you are moving. Remember that you are working online, so you can hold your business location just for Google. Anyway i have seen many times in google places two different locations of the same business (but in the same city) so, may be is possible to hold both of them.
Good luck
Hi there,
The best practice that google recommend first is to email the webmaster of that page to take out the link, then if he do not reply you can use the tool disavow. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
