Hi We have a SaaS online invoicing software website.  We want to optimize our landing page for conversion.  Everything we read about conversion says Big H1 Copy, short, precise and catchy. 3 bullet points and thats it.  Very very little copy. Question is is this bad for our SEO.  Will google rank our home\landing page if we do not have lots of natural keyword copy? SEO and CRO are conflicting here aren't they? Thanks

My site was crawled last night and found 10,000 errors due to a Robot.txt change implemented last week in between Moz crawls.  This is obviously very bad so we have corrected it this morning.  We do not want to wait until next Monday (6 days) to see if the fix has worked.  How do we force a Moz crawl now? Hi, I have removed the Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and G+ links from the top of our home page so as to try and stop users leaving the page.  Is this bad for SEO? Thanks

Hi, We have a web app.  All our competitors are on http://www.appappeal.com.  We can suggest ourselves here http://www.appappeal.com/contact/suggest.  If we get reviewed and the link is a follow link is this a good thing or a bad thing.  They call themselves a directory and you can pay to get a "priority" review. Should we avoid or is it a good link as the DA is 58?

How long should a "quality" blog post be?  General advice seems to be that a 300 word post just won't cut it, but advice on the optimum length is vague.  I appreciate that all posts are different but is there a rule of thumb, is 1000 words good and 1500 too long...or should they are all aim to be 2000 words? Also with regards to pictures in blogs, can they just be taken from the web or are there sites that I should be using to source the pictures? Thanks

Hi, So I have my great content (that contains a link to our site) that I want to distribute to high quality relevant sites in my niche as part of a link building campaign.  Can I distribute this to lots of sites?  The reason I ask is that those sites will then have duplicate content to all the other sites I distribute the content to won;t they?  I this duplication bad for them and\or us? Hi, Links from Directories are bad. Links for low quality sites are bad. Paid links are bad. Guest blogging is "maybe rumor has it" google's next big Penguin. So rather than adding in to our Robot.txt all the areas to disallow.  Is there a way to easily just say Allow /Blog/Post and ignore the rest.  How do we do that in Robot.txt Thanks

I realize it is bad to pay for a link but is it bad to pay for a link on a page that ranks you 1 to 10 againist your competitor, shows a screen shot of your and lists Pros and Cons of your site?  Is this sort of paid link different somehow?

Hi, Our site has a blog.  We had "Categories" and "Tags" in our blog.  This caused SEO chaos with Duplicate content and 404 Errors. We removed all the Categories and Tags about a month ago. Why would these issues still be showing up on Moz as errors on our Crawl Diagnostics page?  Do we need to do some thing else other than just remove them from our blog. Thanks

Hi, My on page crawl analysis is showing that I have 38 duplicate content issues.  These issues are because we had used tags in our blog.  We remove all the tags 10+ day ago but the crawl that was done 5 days ago is still showing the tags as causing a duplicate content issue.  Why would this be?  We cannot correct is as it is already corrected.  How do we get moz to crawl the correctly? Hi Why do our CPC in Google Analytic not match our PPC in Adword, surely they should be identical?  We have Auto-tagging switched on and data in our history is wrong so it is not a timing issue. Thanks

Hi, SEOMoz on-page analysis is reporting that our blog has duplicate content when technically it doesn't. Is this something that we need to address as it will actually be hurting our ranking or is this just a SEOMoz software quirk? There is 100+ example like this but here is one example. SEOMoz is reporting http://www.invoicestudio.com/Blog/author/InvoiceStudio?page=1 and http://www.invoicestudio.com/Blog/author/InvoiceStudio?page=2 as a duplicate content and Title Tag. Hi, We have majorly redesigned our site.  Is is not a big site it is a SaaS site so has the typical structure, Landing, Features, Pricing, Sign Up, Contact Us etc... The main part of the site is after login so out of google's reach. Since the new release a month ago, google has indexed some pages, mainly the blog, which is brand new, it has reindexed a few of the original pages I am guessing this as if I click cached on a site: search it shows the new site. All new pages (of which there are 2) are totally missed.  One is HTTP and one HTTPS, does HTTPS make a difference. I have submitted the site via webmaster tools and it says "URL and linked pages submitted to index" but a site: search doesn't bring all the pages? What is going on here please?  What are we missing?  We just want google to recognise the old site has gone and ALL the new site is here ready and waiting for it. Thanks Andrew

Hi, We have come across this tool that we are considering using for some of our blog posts. Hi, From the screenshot below I have signed up to "Plan 1".  I am not happy with the company and think I can do this better myself using SEOMoz.  My questions are.  Ignoring the one off tasks listed. Which of the Monthly tasks is the most important, which is the second most important etc? Is there any that can be ignored or are any now detrimental to SEO? Hi, We are SEO beginners so please bear with us! We are trying to promote "Web based Invoicing Software".  The SEO company we have signed with offer us 5 keywords for the package we are on with them.  They have suggested\offered us: 1. Invoicing Software - Fine
2. Online Invoicing - Fine
3. Online Invoicing Software - Covered by 1 and 2
4. Small Business Invoicing Software - Covered by 1
5. Invoice Template - Fine.  Will Invoice templateS be covered on this one too? My question is does number 3 cover number 1,2 & 4 anyway?  If so I am thinking to not go for 1,2, & 4 just keep 3 and choose three other new keywords.  Would this be a better strategy and "more for our money?"  Or, keep 1 and 2 and lose 3 and 4, would that be a good option. So, in summary options are (all assuming keeping number 5) 1.  Keep all
2.  Keep 1 & 2 - Lose 3 & 4
