We all know that more and more people are increasing the amount of different categories that eCommerce sites have. Say for example, you have over 3,000 different products, all categories contain unique text at the top of each, all of the categories link to each other (so loads on internal linking) and no two categories contain the exact same products. My question is this, is there ever a stage that you could create too many categories? Alternatively, do you think you should just keep creating categories based on what our customers search for?

We've have been ranking number 1 for all brand related terms but yet still sitelinks won't appear. We have submitted an xml sitemap We have a front facing sitemap in the footer We have a clear hierarchy of pages on the site We have a strong link profile We have a few hundred visits a month from organic search We are running Google Shopping ads Is there anything else that I should be doing?

We recently changed our eCommerce site to a https from a http and we have seen a slight drop in rankings. Should we have not changed the who site over or was it the right call? Thanks,

I have ownership over the .co.uk and the .com for my brand name and I was wondering which URL I should use. Most my sales come from within the UK, (with only a small amount from the US). Currently I'm using the .co.uk and redirecting the .com URL but should I be doing this the other way around? Thanks,

Just a quick one, when I search for my brand in Google I see my normal listing but the Google Plus URL is appearing on the right hand side as a link on it's own. I see that other brands have there company info pulled in here. Is there anything I can do to make it appear like other brands have it, (with the images, text, etc.)? Thanks,

I have a eCommerce site and the site structure is domain/product-name rather than domain/product-category/product-name Do you think this will have a negative impact SEO Wise? I have seen that some of my individual product pages do get better rankings than my categories.

I've implemented breadcrumb trail markup on my site and I wanted to check that it's implemented correctly. Is it true that the breadcrumb does not link to the current page as this would be redundant, so it only links to 'ancestor' pages? (You can see for example on this page that the breadcrumb links to two levels below the home page): http://www.cobaltrecruitment.com/sectors/construction-property-engineering/real-estate-general-practice So basically breadcrumb trail should have a simple link for each level (except for the current page). Do 404 errors on a large scale really matter? I'm just aware that I now have over 60,000 and was wondering if the community think that I should address them by putting 301 redirects in place. Thanks

I have implemented hreflang on site, seen here http://www.cobaltrecruitment.com/ but Webmaster Tools is returning loads of errors in the international targeting area..... "'“en-sg"' - unknown language code" and "'“en-ar"' - unknown language code" Can anyone suggest what I need to tell my developers to do? Thanks for your help!
