Problems with changing the page title on Wordpress Site...

The website is http://www.masterpieceinteriors.co.uk/
I'm not sure why the homepage title is reading 'masterpieces' in Google but looks fine here. There seem to be 2 versions of the homepage coming up in google - you can see them both by searching 'masterpieceinteriors' and then 'masterpiece interiors'.
Some help would be hugely appreciated!

Like Brian and Wayne say, Google does reserve the right to change title tags, and they do so even with big brands like Apple. Here are two posts about that:

I understand that it's positive that my website is coming up for variations of the brand name...
My question was really about why the homepage is showing up with 2 different page titles for different searches. It's been over a month since I changed the title for www.masterpieceinteriors.co.uk but it still doesn't appear in Google results. But I can see the new title showing up if i search 'masterpieceinteriors'.
Any thoughts on the duplicate titles?

Well, Matt Cutts has mentioned that Google reserves the right to try to figure out a better title for you page when the one you have chosen doesnt help users. See:

Perhaps you are being subject to this? Try adding the company name to the end of the title and see if that fixes it.

Are you referring to the site link results that appear when you search the two different versions (masterpieceinteriors & masterpiece interiors)? If so, it's my best bet that this simply has to do with Google picking up your url address 'masterpieceinteriors' with no spaces in one search, and 'masterpiece interiors' with a space in the other search.
It appears that Google simply recognizes both versions for the same brand, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing at all.
If this doesn't fully answer your question, please let me know, but I don't know that there really is a problem with what you have described.

Similar pages on a site
Hi I think it was at BrightonSEO where PI DataMetrics were talking about similar pages on a website can cause rankings to drop for your main page. This has got me thinking. if we have a category about jumpers so: example.com/jumpers but then our blog has a category about jumpers, where we write all about jumpers etc which creates a category page example.com/blog/category/jumpers, so these blog category pages have no index put on them to stop them ranking in Google? Should I Use the Disavow Tool to for a Spammy Site/Landing Page?
Here's the situation... There's a site that is linking to about 6 articles of mine from about 225 pages of theirs (according to info in GWT). These pages are sales landing pages looking to sell their product. The pages are pretty much identical but have different urls. (I actually have a few sites doing this to me.) Here's where I think it's real bad -- when they are linking to me you don't see the link on the page, you have to view the page source and search for my site's url. I'm thinking having a hidden url, and it being my article that's hidden, has got to be bad. That on top of it being a sales page for a product I've seen traffic to my site dropping but I don't have a warning in GWT. These aren't links that I've placed or asked for in any way. I don't see how they could be good for me and I've already done what I could to email the site to remove the links (I didn't think it would work but thought I'd at least try). I totally understand that the site linking to me may not have any affect on my current traffic. So should I use the Disavow tool to make sure this site isn't counting against me?

Changing all titles
A new client of mine has a terrible Wordpress site with many issues and one of these is keyword stuffing, especially in the title. We all know how bad it is, but then what's the best way to remove the keywords in excess? They stuffed 4 keywords (average 3 terms per keyword) in the wordpress General Settings "Site Title", so all of them are included in the title, and there are 200 pages basically with the same, stuffed, title. I am pretty sure if I remove them, and put a unique keyword per page I would have a huge rank drop, but is there any way to minimize it? 2nd question: should I improove the on-page factors and wait for the rank drop/resume before starting a linkbuilding campaign? Too Many On Page Links Error On Wordpress Blog
I have a wordpress blog. I am getting an error message from SEOmoz "too many on page links" However SEOmoz is counting a full month of blogs as one page. For example-3 onpage internal links in each blog times 30 different blog article in a month is recorded as 90 on page links. Is there any mechanism to fix this on wordpress

Right now I think I only have 36. What is a good amount of pages to have? Any ideas on ways to add relevant pages to my site? I was thinking about starting a message board. Will changing page extensions from .html to .php require a redirect?
