Can I track the Domain MozRank over time?
-
I got my pro account a few months ago and now wondering if the Domain MozRank has changed much since when I first started. How can I see this?
-
I'm excited to see where you guys are taking PA & DA. I'm sure it will only continue to improve and as a baseline metric for evaluating a site it is already incredibly useful.
I just think it needs to be made crystal clear that comparing the PA & DA of today to the PA & DA of last month, last quarter, or last year truly is apples and oranges and this will only become more true as SEOMoz improves these metrics going forward.

Rand also mentions something similar in his blog post from a few days ago at http://www.seomoz.org/blog/linkscape-september-update-feedback.
What to Expect in the Next 3 Months
We're releasing a new version of PA + DA that are likely to be much better correlated with Google rankings (giving a superior metric to judge the ranking potential of sites/pages). This might, however, result in some sites + pages rising or falling dramatically. My best advice here is to use your competitors and industry cohorts as a bar for comparison rather than just looking at the raw numbers over time (since the metric itself is changing, a "40" in October might not mean what a "40" means today).

Check out my response to a similar question from last month:
"Keep in mind that the DA metric has changed over time not only because of your SEO efforts but due to the Linkscape index growing and changing over time as well. This means if you compare today's DA to DA last year it's apples and oranges because so many more links and URLs have been indexed since then and different weights have been given to existing links in the index.
DA is most useful as a link building metric and even then it is purely relative.
You probably already know this, but just in case you don't I would focus on organic search traffic in GA - what keywords are driving traffic and conversions on your site - as the main metric for gauging your site's success.
If you haven't already, drink Avinash's Kool-Aid!"

Would be awesome if you could.

Hi Matthew,
It is not possible to see changes in Domain Authority over time in your Pro App. If you have downloaded reports from Open Site Explorer or the Keyword Difficulty Tool for your site over time you could lift the DA from your reports and consolidate them in excel to create a chart.
If you would like to see a history of your DA in the Pro App, you could ask the Moz staff to consider adding it by lodging a feature request
Hope that helps,
Sha

Hey experts, I hope you are doing great, kindly have a look at this page, my keyword for this page is "Sports Streaming Sites". The text has a length of 5344 words and I'm using my keyword in this post as follow: 1. Text Body: 12 times(including headers)

2. Alt tags: 10 times (20+ Images)
3. Title: 1 Time
4. Description: 1 Time
5. Permalink: 1 Time This is a total of 25 times in 5344 words, but when I check this page with moz on-page grader, it shows that I'm using this keyword 40 times and its stuffed, can anybody please explain it to me, I'm so confused and it'll be so nice of you. Root domain or sub domain
When I crawl my site as a root domain, I get more errors is my campaign than when I set my site as a sub domain. Which one is the correct way: root domain or subdomain. My site is www.aa-rental.com

I made a mistake on my root domain, how can I change it.
I just signed up for SEOmoz and already goofed up on setting up my root domain, I left out www. part. I can't find a way to edit it. Can I change it, or do I need to start a new campaign and delete this one?

MozRank: Still valid after Panda?
So I'm trying to quantify some of our drops and I suspect that we've taken some hits on lower quality links (some reciprocals, etc). The problem is most of the metrics I've relied on to help weed out the bad ones seem irrelevant after Panda. So I'm curious, has anyone taken mozRank to task after Panda? Is it still a good metric on valuable links?

Why does new Keywrod tool show incorrect domain linking to root domain count?
Why does new Keywrod tool show incorrect domain linking to root domain count? Why does the "Root Domain Linking Root Domains" column show "4,764" for Homefinder.com/IL/Chicago yet when I run OpenSiteExplorer for homefinder.com it shows "2,963" Linking root domains. Why are these two numbers different?

The value of .uk.com domains
It was a long night last night (working, not playing), therefore forgive the potential stupidness of this question... Running an OSE report on a website earlier their top linking domain was *.uk.com. This is a valid TLD, and I know for sure that the website has not acquired links direct from the uk.com website but from some-other-registered-domain.uk.com. What I am asking is does the Moz Calculation and/or the pagerank calculation give more value to these links? *.uk.com has a Domain Authority of 71 and 156,497 linking root domains. If so i'm gonna go buy me a bunch of .uk.com domains..... Opinions please.
