Does it matter that our cached pages aren't displaying style

We've got pages that, when I search for them in Google and click on Cache, show NO styles, nothing from the CSS. Is there any way that could effect rankings? I don't think so, but it does fall into the category of showing one thing to the bots and another to the user, which is bad.
Also, could blocking /scripts in robots.txt be preventing bots from accessing the CSS?

Thats a good question! I can't honestly say but if that is showing correctly then you don't need to worry about it effecting the rankings or your CTR.

But why would the SERP preview screenshot appear different than the cached page?

How does the magnifying glass look that takes a snapshot of the page? If that looks fine then remember what the search crawler actually sees: http://www.webconfs.com/search-engine-spider-simulator.php
If you're blocking /scripts and your CSS is in there then yes - you are blocking it.

Hi all Just a general discussion question about Internal Search pages and using them for SEO. I've been looking to "noindexing / follow" them, but a lot of the Search pages are actually driving significant traffic & revenue. Duplicate Titles Aren't Actually Duplicate

Does google like Category pages or pages with lots of Products on them?
We are having an issue with getting Google to rank the page we want. To have this page http://www.jakewilson.com/c/52/-/346/Cruiser-Motorcycle-Tires rank for the key word Cruiser Motorcycle Tires; however, this page http://www.jakewilson.com/t/52/-/343/752/Cruiser-Motorcycle-Tires is ranking instead and it has less links and page authority according to site explorer and it is farther down in the hierarchy. I am wondering if google just likes pages that have actual products on them instead of a page leading to the page with all the products. Thoughts?

We have set up 301 redirects for pages from an old domain, but they aren't working and we are having duplicate content problems - Can you help?
We have several old domains. One is http://www.ccisound.com - Our "real" site is http://www.ccisolutions.com The 301 redirect from the old domain to the new domain works. However, the 301-redirects for interior pages, like: http://www.ccisolund.com/StoreFront/category/cd-duplicators do not work. This URL should redirect to http://www.ccisolutions.com/StoreFront/category/cd-duplicators but as you can see it does not. Our IT director supplied me with this code from the HT Access file in hopes that someone can help point us in the right direction and suggest how we might fix the problem: RewriteCond%{HTTP_HOST} ccisound.com$ [NC] RewriteRule^(.*)$ http://www.ccisolutions.com/$1 [R=301,L] Any ideas on why the 301 redirect isn't happening? Does the page authority matter if the main domain is A high PR??
Hi Guys, Some advice and help here would be great please! I have a web agency that has been building some links for our website, the web agency have built some links that have a page rank of 7 on the domain itself, but the our link is on the inner pages of that domain.. So I guess what I am asking is does is matter or can it still help if our links are on the inner pages of the hight pr domain and not on the homepage?? Thanks Gareth

Do you get credit for an external link that points to a page that's being blocked by robots.txt
Hi folks, No one, including me seems to actually know what happens!? To repeat: If site A links to /home.html on site B and site B blocks /home.html in Robots.txt, does site B get credit for that link? Does the link pass PageRank? Will Google still crawl through it? Does the domain get some juice, but not the page? I know there's other ways of doing this properly, but it is interesting no?
