It really wasn't easy to find out what you mean by posting a sentence completely out of context
But you were obviously referring to this thread. This simply means that whenever you find an IP address in you hostnames report in Google Analytics, you should be able to look it up in order to see the host it comes from, rather than just the IP address, as most businesses map their IP to their hostname. E.g. 123.123.123.1 could be mapped to business.example.com and therefore you could find out that 5% percent of your visitors that show up in your hostnames report are from business.example.com.
(I made up all figures and names of course ;-))

Query on Site Architecture
Hi All, When I check on my ecommerce site in one of the architecture tool in that my Ecommerce Homepage interlink with 765 pages whereas when I check few competitors and big brands then there homepage linked with 28 pages, 33, 47, 57 etc not like my site 765 pages. Yet Another, Yet Important URL structure query.
Massive changes to our stock media site and structure here. While we have an extensive category system previously our category pages have only been our search pages with ID numbers for sorting categories. Now we have individual category pages. We have about 600 categories with about 4 max tiers. We have about 1,000,000 total products and issues with products appearing to be duplicate. Our current URL structure for producta looks like this: http://example.com/main-category/12345/product-name.htm Here is how I was planning on doing the new structure: Cat tier 1: http://example.com/category-one/ Cat tier 2: http://example.com/category-one/category-two/ Cat tier 3: http://example.com/category-one-category-two/category-three Cat tier 4: http://example.com/category-one-category-two-category-three/category-four/ Product: http://example.com/category-one-category-two-category-three/product-name-12345.htm Thoughts? Curious case of synonyms affecting our domain queries
Here is a curious case of synonyms affecting search suggestions with our domain name terms as well as search results rankings with our domain in the query. Robots.txt query
Quick question, if this appears in a clients robots.txt file, what does it mean? Disallow: /*/_/ Does it mean no pages can be indexed? I have checked and there are no pages in the index but it's a new site too so not sure if this is the problem. Thanks Karen

Microformats & Schema.org query
Just finished watching the Microformats & Schema.org webinar (thanks for a good presentation Richard) and picked up some interesting tips. It did get me thinking about ways I could use them with a couple of ecommerce sites I am working on. At present there are no reviews on the page so cannot add that tag, however the product pages have a facebook like and a tweet option so maybe I could add a tag based around that? Another one I am considering is putting the sizes of the items in one 'available in sizes 12-32' for example as women often ponder if a store will have it in their size. I guess my question is, would these ways of using it be considered too spammy. I note the webinar state using microformats can be useful but there is a risk if they are too spammy etc. Any opinions would be most welcome, Carl
