Say from a pr 9 site like yahoo

How long does it take for a link to appear in ose ?

Best case a week, worst case 10 weeks.

The SEOmoz crawler takes 2-3 weeks to crawl the web, and 1-2 weeks to process the data once the crawl has been completed.

In a worst-case scenario, your link is built after the first day of the crawl, and the page upon which the link was placed was crawled on day 1.

I will also add web sites do not have "PR", web pages do. You can have a PR10 site such as dmoz with a link to your site which is never discovered because the page upon which the link is placed is buried so many levels deep the page has too low of a PR to be crawled.

With the above understood, if a link was created on a PR9 web page, Google would surely discover the link within hours and the site would gain the benefit of the link immediately.

Why are inbound links not showing?

I run the site http://www.eurocheapo.com and am finding that many inbound links are not showing up in OSE and on the toolbar. For example, check out this hotel review: http://www.eurocheapo.com/paris/hotel/hotel-esmeralda.html In OSE it shows only 2 links (from 1 domain), which is crazy. It has dozens of inbound links from many different domains (links:http://www.eurocheapo.com/paris/hotel/hotel-esmeralda.html). I notice this all over my site. Pages that we link between are also showing no internal links -- which is easy to disprove. Was there a problem with this crawl? Or is the problem in our code? Many thanks for your help, Tom

Discrepancy between followed links. How do you explain this?

My external followed links over time have gone from 346 in late November to 402. Total external links have gone from 400 to 457. Followed linking root domains dropped from 125 to 102 (How do I find out why?). Total Linking Root Domains Over Time dropped from 152 to 126. Linking C-Blocks dropped from 124 to 42. How did I increase my links but drop the other stuff?

No link data for my domains + still no adwords data

All 3 sites In my campaign have no link data analysis done. 5 to 6 months after you said you were working on it Adwords data is still not available in Keyword analysis Partial service is understandable for a few days but not for months. I have a list of links that I want to get PA and DA for each individual link, can this be done in some way other than one at a time? I've heard this can be done with excel and using api but I don't know the specifics of this.. Help would be appreciated

Link building software

Hello MOzzers! Happy sunday 🙂 I need some help, I have 3 diff link builders , they are building links for me individually , all 3 have diff keywords. What I need help with is some way to quickly check the reports they send me ( list of links they have built). Is there any software that I can copy paste the links in and then the software checks allthe links? Ir is there any way to do this quickly. I cant tell you how much I appreciate this help! Total number of links in OSE not clear to me.

I have compared 3 sites in open site explorer. The total # of links in the subdomain metrics report for one of the urls is 46,787. Where is that number coming from? There's 125 total external followed links and 132 total external links. I cannot see the number for internal links, but I'm sure it isn't 40000+. So 46,787 is the result of the addition of what? Thanks a lot for your help, and sorry for this newbie question 🙂

Too many links on a page - pull-down menus

SEOMoz is showing too many links on the page (www.ankinlaw.com). There clearly aren't 100 visible links on the page. Is it counting each page found on the (extensive) pull-down menu as a link? If not, where do all the links come from?

Missing back links in Open Site Explorer?

I'm looking at the Open Site Explorer for my site, and it shows 9 links to my site, all from 2 domains (showing all links from all pages and for both www and not www version of my domain name). But I know for sure that there are other sites linking to my site. Are they not there because they are not important or because the links have not been crawled yet?
