Links from internal pages from other website.

A website link to our site from internal pages of that site where page rank is 0 but page rank of home page of that website is 5 ,it will helpful or I should get links from a page where page rank is available there?
-
Is that page ranking or is that page indexed? Because sometimes can happen you have a link in a page that Google has not indexed (that happens in case of directories, sometimes).
Then, with the Mozbar, check the metrics of that page and of its domain. mozRank value corresponds almost to the real PR of the page and DomainRank and DomainTrust metrics can tell you if it is an authoritative site.
If the metrics are good at least on a domain level, then be happy, because you have obtained naturally a link from a new unique domain name which has good/excellent domain metrics that helps yours domain metrics as well (especially the domainTrust one).
This is the case of being linked in an internal article of the New York Times, for instance.

I would also look at what traffic the other site gets - I like to get links which have a real chance of referring relevant traffic. The websites I work on exist to sell products, so I want links that can attract customers directly as well as indirectly through helping our rankings.

Get both.
PR is not everything, what is more important is page and linktext relevancy

Pursuing the Google toolbar PR is a waste of time. PR is a measure of how popular a page is, not how well it will rank. What good will it do if you have a PR5 page that ranks poorly for keywords?
The question you need to be asking yourself is "What keywords do I want this page to rank well for?"

Do links from International SEO counterpart site carry weight?
Hi everyone! One of our clients has a competitor who has an international reach with their website. Their hreflang goes from Brazil, German, US, China, etc. We found that the Chinese site (.cn) sends over 900,000+ backlinks to the main US site (.com). The hreflang for the site has the .com US version of the site as the canonical. So my question is - does our competitor get any link equity from the 900,000 links they are getting from their Chinese (.cn) version of the site? My initial thought is that because they are marked up with hreflang and canonical tags, those 900,000+ links wouldn't' have any equity? Would love some thoughts/guidance on what others think.

How can a slight brochureware website with little content or keywords be getting DA 96, PA 59 and linking domains of 50.5million?
How can a Facebook page get domain authority of 96, page authority of 59 and have 50million linking domains? I come across websites that feature crappy video clips in serp features in google searches, the website.

It's surely black hat tactics. How do they get away with this? The website has zero content beyond light brochureware.

How much 'ranking power' would a link from a privacy policy page of a Big Brand have if the site content is totally unrelated?
Let's say that Site A is a large brand with high authority ( Moz shows it at 90 DA). Site A is about “Blue Shoes”. Site B is about “fishing”. If Site A links from their privacy policy page to Site B … would that inbound link carry enough weight in a way that could impact rankings for Site B given that the content is totally unrelated and it's a link from a privacy policy? I’m asking if the work to get clients/partners do this help. I have a hypothetical question for you all! Site A is a large brand with high authority ( Moz shows it at 90 DA). Links from my Own Blog to my Own Website and Link Scheme
Hi There, I use my own blog to give advices and offer information related to my business service. Of course in terms of SEO my blog is useful not only to expand my brand presence but also to acquire long-tail traffic. I use to insert a maximum of one link with a relative matching anchor text in every article of my blog pointing to my own webpage. Said that, the questions are as follows: Am I involuntarily participating in a Link Scheme with my blog? And If so, how many links can I send to my own webpage ? Shall I limit the number of links to a minimum? Thanks a lot for your advices.

Figured out most websites dont use nofollow internal links. Are we doing something wrong? this internal nofollow links are affecting the anchor text i assume. Any advantage to make that links follow? Thanks in advance

Most OSE Top Links Are Internal
If I run an OSE report and check the 'top links' tab, I find that 95% of the links are internal pages on the same root domain. Can I deduce from this that my link profile sucks, and is in need of serious improvement? Thanks.
