Shortening Keywords in a title tag
-
in my title tag i want to have:
3D Renders of Office Refurbishment & Interior Design Kent | Complete Group
which unfortunatly is longer than 70 characters, however, to make it fit in 70 characters i could put:
3D Renders of Office Refurb & Interior Design Kent | Complete Group
Notice that refurbishment has been changed to refurb, would this be ok for SEO purposes?

I still think it's better to have exact match. The Google Adwords Keyword tool shows far more searches for office refurbishment over office refurb for exact, phrase and broad in the UK (and globally) - both with 'High' competition.
Unless you're a really well known brand in your target market I don't see it as a problem if your brand is cut off at the end of the title tag on search results.

Personally if i was searching for "Office Refurbishment" company i would type in "Office Refurb"
If I type in Office Refurb" i get results for "Office Refurbishment" so I think google treats them at leased close to the same way.

How does Google handle fractions in titles?
Which is better practice, using 1/2" or ½"? The keyword research suggests people search for "1 2" with the space being the "/". How does Google handle fractions? Would ½ be the same as 1/2?

Google News and Meta Title
Hi,
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | JohnPalmer
1. I just read this article: https://www.seroundtable.com/google-news-titles-h1-19876.html
Google want the same title. no problem. but what about the brand? for example
POST TITLE BLA BLU | My Brand
The "post title bla blu" is the H1 and title of the article and | My Brand is my brand...
I can keep it as is with the My brand? or remove it? what about posts with long title for example "POST TITLE BLA BLU POST TITLE BLA BLU | My Brand"
What is you suggestion, I know Google doesn't show all the text and we'll see "...". it's still important to write the brand name in the title or just the post title? (without the brand). Thanks,0 -
Keyword stuffing
Hi all. I'm working on this page - http://www.alwayshobbies.com/dolls-houses - for the term 'dolls houses'. It's not doing great at the minute (23rd in GUK) and I was wondering if it might be down to the volume of exact match keywords on the page (32). If not, does anyone have any other pointers? Thanks!

Using standard title and description tags with rich snippets are there potential conflicts
Recently I've employing rich snippets using the guides from schema.org I find them a great way to let the search engines understand the content of my web pages, also author and publisher tags are all thrown into the migreat great love it. My question however is what to do with the existing title and description tags? Should they be left in? Do they cause conflicts with the search engines? Should I just ignore this gut feeling and leave them in. Any insights into the use of schema and a standard tags appreciated. Best David

Google Web Master Tools: Duplicate Title Tags?
According to Google Web Master Tools it says my site has 910 Duplicate Title Tags. How verbose should title tags be? What's the maximum character length? For example, let's say I have an image of an iPhone 4S being held in someone's hand. How verbose of a title and how many characters am I allowed to have? Is the goal with title tags to be very specific in describing the image? In the above example, do I need to say something like: "iPhone 4S being held by white caucasian male" or will "iPhone 4S" suffice?
