How to avoid Sandbox?

What is Sandbox? In order to avoid something like Sandbox, one should know very well what Sandbox is. But, nobody knows if Sandbox does exist, so let's just focus on the main problem here: How do I get my pages indexed? I have tried over years a lot of techniques, but I found only one that seems to work. If your site is not dynamic, make it so. Create the sitemap and the feed (I recommend RSS 2.0). Put your sitemap in your robots.txt. (last line, like this: Sitemap: http://www.yourdomainname.com/sitemap.xml). Submit sitemap to Sitemaps section in your Webmaster Tools' account. Submit your RSS feed to main RSS directories (just google the words, and you'll find plenty of them). Start with FeedBurner, to please Google. Wait a week or so and you'll see that your pages will start appearing in index. Good luck!

Google Sandbox is a debated topic from 2004 and 2005 that has never been confirmed. You shouldn't concern yourself with it too much. Also, the concept of Sandbox would only temporarily penalize new domains for the first few months. If you are worried about being penalized either temporarily or permanantely, there are a couple things you can always do:
1. Create great content
2. Used aged domainsIf you concern yourself with making the best site possible and don't worry about making a quick buck, you shouldn't have a problem.

How to avoid a redirect chain?
Hi there, I am aware that it is not good practice to have a redirect chain but I am not really sure hoe to do it (on Apache). I have multiple redirects in a chain because on the one hand I had to redirect because the content of the site got a new URL and because on the other hand I changed from http to https. Thus I have a chain like http://example.com via 301 to http://the-best-example.com via 301 to https://the-best-example.com via 301 to https://greatest-example.com Obviously I want to clean this up without loosing any link juice or visitors who had bookmarked my site. So, I could make three separate redirects: http://example.com via 301 to https://greatest-example.com

http://the-best-example.com via 301 to https://greatest-example.com
https://the-best-example.com via 301 to https://greatest-example.com But is there a way to combine it? Can I use an "OR" operator to link the 3 conditions to this one rule? Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot!!!0 -

How do I properly use the canonical tag to avoid negative effect from having identical content on 2 url’s?
To illustrate… I have same website uploaded at 2 locations (url’s). Only the domain extensions are different. www.myexample.com

www.myexample.org The benefit is that I may run some promos on one location and not the other to help in product surveys/testing. The website content is 98% identical and I understand this content duplication may cause SEO problems. The domain I wish to use for rankings etc is www.myexample.com 1) How do I go about avoiding seo problem? Do I need to place the canonical tag at www.myexample.org ie 2) Do I also place the exact same tag at the .com location or not necessary there? Is there an alternative or more effective option to resolving the problem?0 -
How unique does a page need to be to avoid "duplicate content" issues?
We sell products that can be very similar to one another. Product Example: Power Drill A and Power Drill A1 With these two hypothetical products, the only real difference from the two pages would be a slight change in the URL and a slight modification in the H1/Title tag. Are these 2 slight modifications significant enough to avoid a "duplicate content" flagging? Please advise, and thanks in advance!

Sandbox Cached
Hello, I worked on my site using a sandbox, this site got cached!!! So now all my pages on my regular site have several links from this IP address. I know this isn't that big of a deal. But I would like to get it straightened out. I've had disallow on the robots.txt for several weeks. How should I go about getting this IP address out of the google index? Thanks Tyler

Avoiding duplicate content/same pages
hi I have been checking through all the Q and A but i i'm still not sure how you get http://www.domain.co.uk/index.html to be just http://www.domain.co.uk/? Do you add canonical to the index page to point to the page you prefer and then add a 301 redirect? thanks
