We have a WordPress site where we use the plugin Chatra for our chats. It works great...except, that you cannot track conversions from Google Ads. There is another plugin called Apex that allows tracking, but their people answer the phone instead of ours.
So does anyone know a way or a plugin where we can have chat enable on our website that our people are solely responsible for responding to that allows you to track conversions from Google Ads?

If we have one page in English, and another that is translated into Spanish, does google consider that duplicate content? I don't know if having something in a different language makes it different or if it will get flagged.

Does anyone have any experience or know anyone with experience getting google reviews restored? We have no technical issues with our Google business pages/locations, but for some reason, they deleted some of our recent reviews.
These reviews were not at our location or review station or anything like that. A couple of the profiles were very new accounts, and a couple of the users posted reviews for a few locations, however, they were legitimate reviews that they did on their own.
I was hoping someone had an idea of what to do to appeal to Google or if there was a form to fill out to get our reviews restored.

I hooked up our google beacon and I activated per google's instructions...but I can't tell if it is working or not. Does anyone know if there is a way to verify it is transmitting other than the confirmation page I got when I put in the validation code?

I'm aware of the cover, profile and logo options, but they are not displaying the image we selected for those. They are pulling an image from our site that is not uploaded to our google business photos. Yes, I'm sure it's the correct account and not a duplicate.
When we type in our business name, our google business profile comes up on the right-hand side per usual. However, the photo that is displayed is not the one we want to be displayed. Is there a way to change that? Is there a way to tell google "this is the photo we want to display in search?"
Also, the photo that is being displayd is not one that we even have uploaded to the google business page. It is on our website, but not on the photos for google business page.

2. Are call games or modules similar to plugins? i've only ever added plugins. I don't know what "call games or modules" are.

It doesn't work like it did in the past, and google has made all sorts of statements about being more "brand" focused, like say Zappos.com as opposed to shoes.com. I still see EMD's ranking well across the board, but there are a number of reasons for that beyond just the name. And, even still, they don't dominate the way they did years ago.
At least, that's what I have observed.

Continuing on what EGOL said, we have had very good experiences with County + keyword for areas outside of Hillsborough County (outside of Tampa). You will not find Pasco + keyword or Hernando + keyword ever showing up on any mainstream keyword tool. They just don't have the search volume...however, we get conversions on those landing pages all the time.
Frankly, I don't know how you would even do county vs city research, because you (most likely) will not find search volume for counties even though conversions might be there. However, as William said, they are the same name. So, in your particular case, it really shouldn't matter.

From my understanding, Matt Cutts hates guest blogging, so I told all of the attorneys here not to write anywhere but on our blog. However, I realized people are constantly "guest blogging' on Moz, and considering how smart these people are, it must not be hurting them or they wouldn't do it. However, what I don't understand is why?
Yes, I do get that the quality of what's on YouMoz is high and not spammy, but I got the impression that didn't really matter. Guest blogging would get you into trouble no matter what.
Can someone clarify for me?

Welcome to the community! I agree with ApOG about the beginners guide to get started. While you can jump right in, at best you'll get pretty lost and at worst, you could really hurt your client's site.
Other tips:
1. I'd go through the q/a forum and write down terminology that you are unfamiliar with. Sometimes this industry feels like a foreign language to me, so it's always helped me to try to at least get the definition of what people are saying, even if I can't follow passed that point.
2. I would focus on keyword analysis to start. What are you ranking for now? What do you want to rank for? Where are you in relation to your competitors? If you're familiar with google analytics and webmaster tools, this can help. If not, get familiar with them.
3. If you don't focus on keyword research, try to pick one aspect of the site that will net you the greatest return and then ask for help with that project.
4. Always remember, rankings don't matter; conversions do.

This is a little more specific:
You can get there by going to GWT, clicking on your site, then on the left, click on "crawl," then click on "Fetch as google," then enter the url you want indexed and hit "fetch." You then can pick between just "the page" or "the page and all the pages linked to it "to be fetched. That's pretty much up to you, but if you don't use the tool all that often, "you might as well pick the page and the pages linked to it" option.
Sometimes you'll get this weird error message, but that's (most likely) not your fault. I've had it happen every now and then. I just try it again a few times, and it usually works. If not, still, just try it again in a few hours.

I'd start with two questions. First, is your market for locals or is your market for tourists? Then, I would ask "is my market more likely to click through to the wine tours from the wine section or the travel section?"
Without any data, just my instinct, if you're market is for tourists, then I would put the wine tours under the travel page. I'm a tourist, I need travel info, while I'm on the travel page, oh look, there's a wine tour. I'd like to do that while I'm there. However, if I am local, I might not ever visit the travel page. Why would I? I live there, but I would check out the wine page. Then, I might want to go on a tour.
So figure out who your target demographic is, what's most likely to appeal to them and base the page position on that.

Yes, you should. Some of the best bloggers I've read/heard of, spend significant time going back to their older posts. They check for broken links, better phrasing, better keywords and implementation, etc. Plus, some of your older posts could may be "evergreen" i.e. not time sensitive, so - if they are quality - give them their best shot to rank, be read and improve your site overall.

People are more likely to call us, than email us. However, if they're using a mobile device, there's a click to call button on that site. My question is this: google does not include our phone number in our meta description. I could try to get the description changed, but it doesn't seem like it would make that big of a deal for just the desktop site.
Am I missing something about the importance of the phone number on a desktop site? Any experience with this situation?

The generic response is:
1. Your budget is better spent developing high quality, unique content.
2. This is a violation of google's guidelines and will most likely get you penalized now or in the near future.
My response is:
1. If you want to commit yourself to trying to say ahead of everyone at google, by all means, have fun. However, by the time most black hat techniques have garnered as much attention as cloaking has, they have pretty much lived out their usefulness.
2. Admittedly, you're new to cloaking but confident you could figure it out...I just find that dangerous. I wouldn't implement something on my site, I didn't fully understand, especially if it's something google doesn't like.

A few things:
1. Unless you scraped all that content, I highly doubt it's Panda.
2. From my understanding, Panda is mostly about content so "the link profile seems to look good," doesn't really matter.
3. Also, I do not agree that your link profile looks good (I do not mean that harshly; I have several pages that are way worse. But, I think you should know). Most of your highest quality links are no-follow and you have a bunch coming from directories. Your anchor text is pretty exact as well.
4. Good news: From everything I've read/heard in this forum or others, when people are hit with Panda/Penguin, they do not fall 20 spaces...they fall like 100. Granted, those are all anecdotal so it could be possible.
5. It's only been a week. Yes, 20 spaces is definitely something to pay attention to, but I'd just monitor it for at least another week.
