I played with it a little last year, but I didn't make any connections for link exchanges. It hadn't occurred to me to use it like that ... I do like to exchange with highly relevant, quality sites ... shhh, don't tell. ;D.

Best Methods and Tools for Monitoring your Website's Backlinks

Recently, I've launched two websites. I want to make sure I'm doing a good job monitoring our link building efforts. I'm see a lot of tools out there to supplement my use of Open Site Explorer. What I want to know is what tools I should be using to monitor my links? My ultimate goal would be to have the data to track the number of links I'm adding a month so that I can use it for reporting. There is another layer. Because the sites are new, OSE is actually not reporting any links found. I can only find reported links through Google Search Console. Any advice? Is this something where I will just have to wait for everything to get indexed?

What tools/techniques you use to check if a domain has been penalized?

If we think to buy expired or otherwise dropped domains, what tools or techniques you would recommend to check if there has bad SEO history? We could of course, check with Google itself if the site is indexed and ranks, but I am asking if there is a particular tool out there that would provide more information if a website had been shady. Forgot the name of a cool SEO Tool... Help!

I recently discovered a cool SEO tool. I didn't write it down, save it, bookmark, etc... And now I can't remember the name of the tool for the life of me, but I'd really like to use it again. I was hoping I could list of the features that I remember, and one of you Mozzers know what I'm talking about. It was a backlink analysis tool. It had a free version, and after you performed so many searches/searched so many backlinks, you had to pay. From what I remember it was a fairly nominal fee with the most popular package in around $25. The reason that I liked it so much was you could take an OSE csv file, dump it in there, and it would sort all of the links by link type, i.e, footer, comment, directory, etc... Then it would put it all into a nice pie chart for you and show you the % of the total links that each link type made up. It would also analyze the anchor text and would show you every anchor text used, and the % of the total each one made up.

Google Webmaster Tools Link Count

What are your thoughts on the link information provided by GWMT? It often takes quite a bit of time for the links to show up, and some quality links are never shown. Is it cause for concern if your link count is lower in GWMT than, say OSE? Any implications worth noting?

Tips on the best free tools or techniques to promote your site

Hi i would like to know after receiving lots of email about tools to help with seo and promoting your site and would like to know if anyone has used any as yet. I have kept away from paid tools as i have been reading that they are a waste of time but would like to know your thoughts. I would also like to know if there are any good free tools out there to use to help make your site better and increase traffic and if there are any techniques or sites that i should be using any advice would be great

Best Keyword reseach tool for spanish site?

Good morning to all. I am looking for a good keyword research tool for spanish website. The google keyword tool does not give enought long tail keywords and wordtracker does not provide good results for spanish sites. Does anybody here have experience with a good keyword tool for spanish sites?
