How often does seo moz update its link data?
-
I have lots of recently gained good links that don't show in seo moz, how long does it take for moz trust, moz rank and PR to update?
-
Hmm... If your stats haven't ever updated, that's very odd. We have a Linkscape update calendar as Casey pointed out here: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/345964-linkscape-update-schedule and those are pretty substantial (tens of billions of pages, hundreds of millions of domains and links).
You can see the last few blog posts on the index updates, too:
- January: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/interim-linkscape-update-for-january
- End of November: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/2nd-november-index-update-our-broadest-index-yet-and-new-pada-scores-are-live
- Beginning of November: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/november-linkscape-update-is-live
- October: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/november-2011-linkscape-update
And on and on. Following this category: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/category/38 will provide links to the rest.
In terms of link timing - if an important link is created on, let's say January 1st, our crawler will probably find it in a 2-3 week crawl period. After that, it goes into processing for 12-20 days and an index is produced. Within these overlapping periods, you could imagine that in a worst case scenario, a link may not show up in a new index for up to 50 days (at the max) and as little as 14 days (in the best case).
We have another index planned in about 10-12 days (as I noted in the January interim blog post), so you'll likely see it there. If you don't feel free to write to help@seomoz.org with details and we'll see what the issue might be.
Cheers!

There was a recent update this past week (1/4/2012), so if you check now it will be accurate. They try to update it about once a month. You can keep up with the schedule at http://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/345964-linkscape-update-schedule

Ahrefs vs Moz
Hi! I noticed the Moz DA en the Ahrefs DA are very different. Where https://www.123opzeggen.nl/ has a DA of 10 at MOZ, the DA at Ahrefs is 26. Where does this big difference come from? Do you measure in different ways? I hope you can answer this question for me. Thank you in advance!

Which kind of backlink is best for SEO
After complete the jobs of keywords, it may worth to spend more time for building up more backlinks to enhance the SEO, so do you have any suggestion about which kind of backlink is best to build? as I know now, the backlinks are classified to be: 1. profile article, 2. book mark, 3. signature, 4. wiki article, 5. blog comment etc. I am very new for SEO, so it's welcome to give me any suggestion or comment for my opinion as above. Thanks a lot! -John.

OSE vs google webmaster link data
Hiya experts, I am trying to understand the OSE. One thing I noticed is that OSE shows 12 linking root domains to our site. However, google webmasters show more than 90(that have kinks to pages on our site). And these are not new links, some of these date back to Apr 2011. Is there something very obvious I am missing here? Thanks for your help. Regards, Raman.

No follow link
Hi There, We pay for our site (www.residentialland.com) to appear on a popular property site: http://www.homesandproperty.co.uk/ When I use Open Site Explorer, it is our top link, but it has 'no follow' above it. So I had a look at the source code on the homesandproperty website and I cant see any nofollow code that would effect our link. I also used this tool which confirmed it isnt classed as a no follow link: http://www.seorankings.com/tools/nofollow-link-checker Can anyone else tell me if our paid for link on homesandproperty is a no follow, or if it is 'search engine friendly' so to speak? We pay for links across their site, so we want to get the full benefit. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Rob

OpenSiteExplorer is not seeing all my inbound links
I know I have back links to my site from about 5 or 6 websites and most of them even show in my Google webmaster account but according to OSE I only have 1 inbound link. Is it normal for the OSE stats to be wrong? I really want to use it but am worried the info isn't going to be accurate.

How Do I Interpret Data From "Competitive Link Finder" Search Results?
Ok, I'm a beginner here. A few basic questions: I ran a "competitive link finder" search. 1. What does "Subdomain mR" mean? 2. What does Subdomain mT mean? 3. What do the scores in each column mean? Example 8.7 under Subdomain mR. 4. How do I interpret this? thanks for your help! Dan Castro

Moz tool bar showing less links
Just checked our links for a couple of our sites and noticed that the number of inbound links has dropped from around 55,000 to 13,000 on one and from 6000 to 700 on the other. GWMT still showing the previous amounts. Anyone else experienced this over the last few days?

301 finder SEO Tool
Hi there, I´m looking for a tool, which shows all 301 redirect links to a domain. Have some competitors which haven´t many links but have quite good rankings. I suppose they have some 301 redirections... Thanks!
