I am trying to add keywords to my SEOMoz campaign and it says I have reached my 300 KW limit eventhough I have only added 1 word!

Any suggestions?

I hadn't realized it was 300 for all campaigns - that was the problem!

It is 300 keywords for all campaigns just to be clear.

You should report it using the feedback tab, on the left, it will be fixed pretty quick

How to rank for multiple keyword phrases

Hello everyone! My website is smartyprogrammer.com. How do you go about ranking for multiple keyword phrases? Using the Site Grade Tool, I rank really well for one keyword phrase, like "Smarty Programmer", but then rank really poorly for another phrase like "Smarty Tuner". However, if I change my titles and all my wording towards "tuner" instead of "programmer", it seems like it will make my content either be spammy sounding, or I'll starting lacking in the "programmer" department. Is it best to just create a separate page to rank for "Smarty Tuner"? Or what is the best way to go about ranking for multiple important keyword phrases? Thanks everyone for your help!

Ranking keyword ecommerce product

Hi guys, I run an ecommerce store footdistrict.com. We sell sneakers. My question relates to the name of some of my products and how to rank for them. This concerns to the shoes from New Balance The name of this products follows this format: New Balance XXNumberXXX . But actually I have realized I am ranking for New Balance XXNumber XXX . Note the space between the number and the last 3 characters. All my titles, h1, keywords follow this format. Example: New Balance WL574 RUP vs New Balance WL574RUP My questions are: 1. How would you determine which keyword to rank for: New Balance XXNumberXXX or New Balance XXNumber XXX? I have thought of using analytics data to see the pattern of the users search or maybe the difficulty of the keyword? I am receiving a decent amount of traffic for New Balance XXNumber XXX but I wonder if it'd be higher ranking for New Balance XXNumberXXX 2. Does the algorithmn take into account this space? According to the On page Grader, I have an A for New Balance XXNumber XXX and a F for New Balance XXNumber XXX but I assume the engine doesn't work this way 3. What would you do? Can you highlight a list of keywords in reports?

Hello all, My client recently asked me if there was a way to highlight a specific list of keywords to put on the first page of every report. These would be the highest priority keywords that we would always want to know the status of for his site. In the reports section, I am only seeing options for organizing the keywords by rankings improved/declined and comparing to competitors. Would anyone know how to label/categorize this list of keywords and then produce them as part of the monthly reports? Thank you,

Keyword difficulty percentage changes from day to day

No longer in top 100 for branded keyword - How!?

Got a weird one here... Won't give away actual URL but for this example let's say client's site is: www.purplebananas.com Many of the longtail keyword-targeted subpages/posts are still ranking pretty well. We recently went through and optimized the site based on poor scores we found from crawl reports from SEO Moz, which included renaming some sub-pages, eliminating duplicate content pages, archives, etc (it's a wordpress site, about 4 years old). This site used to rank at the top or near it for the search "purple bananas". However, after we optimized the site it's almost completely fallen off the radar of Google, turns up way over 100 for the search "purple bananas". Strangely, if we search "purplebananas" we're at the top still. Any idea what's going on here? Are we potentially over-optimized or something weird for our own brand!? Any troubleshooting tips? FWIW the changes were made about 6 weeks ago and while we're steadily building links, I don't think this is the standard "Google dance". Thanks!

SEOmoz Q&A down last few days

It seems the Q&A section had some issues since the 25th. Users could post new Q&As but they were not visible to most users. Roger was caught slacking! The issue appears to be resolved at this time. I just wanted to share to anyone who asked a question the past few days who did not receive a response you may wish to repost your question as many readers will not go back and check questions from prior days.
