Sorting On-page Optimization Reports

I know there are several pre-set ways to sort the on-page optimization reports, but how can I custom sort them into my own order?

Hi willwatrous,

Unfortunately, there is no way to custom sort the keywords on on-page optimization reports. One work-around it export to CSV, and sort in spreadsheet. Sorry for the inconvenience. I do think this is a great idea, and probably something we could do to make your life a little easier. We have a feature request forum that we use to plan new products and features. Please post your idea there so it can be properly logged! Thanks in advance!

On-Page Optimization Report: How Are Keywords Chosen?

Apologies if this has already been covered 100 times! Last month I set up a new campaign, and so far the On-Page Optimization tool has only crawled and graded three of my pages so far. I assume it takes time for more pages to be covered? But, here's my real question: I see that the tool is giving my pages grades based on certain keywords, but the tool itself seems to be deciding which keyword to use in grading each page. To use a made-up example, my example has a page about leather gloves, a page about wool mittens, and a page about cotton mittens. The last one is supposed to be optimized for the keyword "cotton mittens," but the tool is grading it based on how well it's optimized for "wool mittens." I can go into the drop-down at the top of the page and change the keyword that the page is graded on, and that gives me a new grade, but only for that instance. The next week, the tool is back to giving the page an F for "wool mittens." Is that because the tool decides that "wool mittens" is the keyword for which the page has the best chance of ranking, no matter what my intentions are? is there any way to permanently tell the tool that I want the page to target "wool mittens" as its main keyword? Issue with Opesiteexplorer report

Hi, When I pulled backlinks report for my website from opensite explorer. I see the backlinks listing for my homepage is duplicated with index page. Ex. For a external website my homepage www.website.com as well as www.website.com/index.php shows as backlinks. Note: I had given rel=canonical tag to my homepage and index.php is 301 redirection to the homepage. I find this error only to my homepage and I don't find this issue to my inner pages. I would like to know whether this is an issue with opensiteexplorer or a problem with my homepage url. Your answers are appreciated.

Transfering Page Authority

Hi, I have recently change my url architecture with site redesign and was just doing some analysis of the old and new pages. I seem to be losing a little bit of Organic Search because of it. As an example this old diving page in open site explorer shows a Page Authority of 46 whilst the new diving page shows a Page Authority of 22. I have a 301 redirect going from the old page to the new, but that seems to be quite a drop in Page Authority. Is there anything else I can be doing to improve upon it? Thanks, Adam

Amount of Pages Crawled Dropped Significantly

I am just wondering if something changed with the SEOMoz crawler. I was always getting 10,000 or near 10,000 pages crawled. After the last two crawls I am ending up around 2500 pages. Has anything changed that I would need to look at it see if I am blocking the crawler or something else?

On Page Analysis and Grading

I received an email that my on page analysis for my campaigns were completed. But when I click on the link there are no grades there. What does that mean? Another question on this topic....when your campaign is graded are pages graded on all the keywords in the campaign or is each keyword graded invidividually? Thanks!

On page optimisation tool issues

When viewing my campaign and looking at the on page optimisation tool, I have a few issues. I seems to only shows the keywords I want rankings for and how optimised my homepage is for those keywords. Is there any way I can get it to analyse permanently specifc keywords for specific pages because my homepage isnt optimised for some keywords which are on my list, which I have optimised other pages for, and because its looking at my homepage its getting a really low grade, and looks really bad and frustrates me because I cant work this out. Any help greatly appreciated.

For the "On Page Report Card", Can I see a list of all of the recommendations?

On the "On Page Repord Card", in the "Page Analysis Detail" section, I can click "Read More" for each factor and see a "Recommendation" on how to fix the page to meet that factors criteria. Are these recommendations the same everytime or will they vary depending on the page itself? Can get a copy of each recommendation that would appear if none of the criteria were met? Thanks, Daniel.
