What if it is a domain name
-
The suggestion is that my keyword food truck be in the URL of gourmetstreets.com. But what if my URL which is the domain name of the site does not contain the keyword?
I cannot change the domain name, can or should I?
Thanks

Good responses
Having a look at your site.. another option you could look at is to create a "food-truck-franchise" landing page, i.e.: http://gourmetstreets.com/food-truck-franchise (with content targetted to food truck fanchises & links to each different franchise type)
And have all the franchise pages site in a folder beneath:
- http://gourmetstreets.com/food-truck-franchise/chillipeppers
- http://gourmetstreets.com/food-truck-franchise/deli-cuisine
From that "parent" page you could create a whole heap of knowledge base articles:

Excellent response by Andrew. I would add that you should also create specif pages on your site for some of your long-tail keywords and include those keywords in your URL.
Example: www.gourmetstreets.com/food-truck-franchise-oppertunities/
or like the one you already have http://gourmetstreets.com/how-to-start-a-food-truck-franchise/

HI Richard,
While it is commonly regarded that a keyword loaded URL is a ranking signal and beneficial to rankings, you would really want your full keyword target 'food truck franchise' in the URL to get the full benefit you are referring to.
That said, Google is placing stronger focus on 'brands', and the leading SEO's feel keyword loaded domains will hold less value over the coming months/years.
Looking at your website, 'Food truck' on its own is quite generic and will generate a lot of irrelevant traffic even if you did rank well with it. I would focus your efforts on 'offsite' SEO and link building related to people looking for franchise/new business opportunities via blogs, guest posting, local business forums, startup/entrepreneurial forums etc etc for your 'food truck/business franchise' related keywords.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Andrew

Agency Domain Authority Boosting Activity
Hi Guys Have been reading up a bit on methods for boosting Domain Authority and am generally finding that the best way is by producing unique and relevant content through blogs and other kinds of articles. Having multiple clients in an agency means that there is limited time for this and I need something else to assist in boosting Domain Authority. I perform a fair bit of backlinking through online directories, however I am also finding that most blog comment sections have implemented 'no follow' codes to reduce spam content. There are plenty of free online directories, and many with high Domain Authorities, however they can take up to months for the listings to be approved. I am performing other activities to boost keyword rankings in Google for our clients but need some help with getting their Domain Authority up. Does anyone know of an efficient method for boosting Domain Authority for an agency with many clients where blog writing for each may not be a viable option? Would be great to hear anyone's ideas!

How can I make google display rich snippets when searching for my domain?
My domain is www.phraseexpander.com If I search for phraseexpander in google, I'm in the first position (as it should be) but google is not giving extra space to my result as it happens, for example, if you search for "fogbugz". Is there any way I can hep google index my contents (I currently have a site index that is created by Yoast SEO). Thanks a lot. Andrea

Tools for seaching for keyword rich domains
Could I get some recommendations please for tools that will help me find keyword rich domains in my space. Also I did try out the Go Daddy bulk domain checker (just copy and paste domains into box) but it doesn't let me bulk search .co.uk domains. Any ways around that one?

Duplicating content on multiple domains
Hey guys, I've started working with a new client recently called Resource Investing News. I'm more a Social Media person, though I do have SEO experience. RIN has about 40 URLs all of which have original news content published on them. One SEO-related issue that I can see here though is that the primary domain re-publishes all of the original content that the other URLs do. In other words: resourceinvestingnews.com will have an article on it that is also published on goldinvestingnews.com with the same date stamp and a link out to the original article. E.g. http://resourceinvestingnews.com/42539-molybdenum-goes-far-beyond-steelmaking.html http://molyinvestingnews.com/5301-molybdenum-steelmaking-vehicle-demand-electronics-lubricant.html Does anyone have an idea if this is something that should be reviewed and/or whether the content is being negatively affected in search? Many thanks!

Duplicate content on my domain
I have several pages on my domain that are using the same content except for changing a paragraph or sentence. Do I need to create unique content, even though much of the information pertains to a feature and is related?
