Any recommendations for Social Media Submission

I came across a company one time that would sign you up and submit your username to all the social media sites. Seems like it was "knowit" or something like that. Anyway Does any one have an recommendations on companies to submit to sites instead of having to do each one individually.

Hi Utah Tiger,
I believe you're referring to KnowEm. The site lets you have them create social media accounts for you, rather than you doing the signing up to each one yourself. I don't believe they offer any tools to USE all of those sites, just to sign up for them. I haven't used them myself, but KnowEm does have a good reputation.

Yes some of these types of product are good if your aim is just to blast out at social media but to be honest the winning formula for social stuff is not to be lazy, get involved and interact. Genuine interaction with members is the key to success, if you can't manage so many social media accounts due to cost or time then I would consider picking your key ones that are best suited to your product/ services and focus on doing those well.

Social Icons Link to Inner Pages
We have the social icons (facebook, twitter, youtube etc) in the footer of our homepage linked to inner pages instead of our actual social accounts. So, if you click on the facebook icon you go to one of our inner pages talking about our facebook profile and why to like us on facebook. Then on this inner page you can get to our facebook profile. We do this so we can pass on PR juice from our homepage to our inner page, and not lose it right off our front page. Is this a good idea? Or does it just confuse users? Most people think when they click on a facebook icon they will go to an actual facebook profile. Has anyone had any experience with the DoFollow social bookmarking tool "Mister Wong". Is it worth the fee for DoFollow links? Is this site subject to Google Panda penalties or others for essentially selling dofollow links? Is social bookmarking as a whole worth the time and effort? How can small businesses use Social Media?
This is a question that has been nagging at me for more than a year now. I've played around on Twitter and LinkedIn, and am a frequent user of Facebook. I really struggle to see how a small business can utilize Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. Let's get the obvious, "Tell your friends about your business" post out of the way. I have a friend that posts about his business everyday, the same thing, over and over. I have since blocked his feeds because they are annoying. I always pay attention to when someone makes a post about a new business they are starting because I want to watch and see how they use social media to grow, but it never seems to develop into anything more than a simple "I have a new business." I don't want to be the guy at the neighborhood Christmas party that everyone ignores because they think the only thing I will talk about is my business. I've also tried doing the "Build real relationships on Twitter" approach. It seems like everyone I chose to follow and try to become friends with was a bot. They didn't post anything, but "Inspiring Quotes" and "Random Facts". I think my real question is "How do small business use social media, WITHOUT being annoying?"

How effective is RSS feeds submission, links from Blog Directories?
I am wondering how effective rss feed submission (to RSS aggregators) is in terms of getting traffic and backlinks? Also, how about getting listed in blog directories? Do these tactics work anymore post Panda update ? Thanks, Supriya.
