How to handle this specific duplicate title issue
-
Part of my website is a directory of companies. Some of the companies have mane locations in the same city.
For these listings titles and url's are like this:
1. Company ABC - Miami, FL
http://www.website.com/florida/miami/company-abc-10001
2. Company ABC - Miami, FL
http://www.website.com/florida/miami/company-abc-10002
What is the best way to fix this problem?
Thank you
-
Casey, thanks for the answer and this is very good idea....
but
all listings already have full street address and phone number.
So since company name is similar, it's still appears as duplicate content. Apparently 2 extra lines of address and phone do not do the work.

Perhaps you can add more information on the companies location? You could include the Street of the location, side of town (north, east, west, south), Phone Number of the location. If each location has a specific branch name, include that also.

Hello,

Recently, I was checking how my site content is getting indexed in Google and from today I noticed 2 links indexed on google for the same article: This is the proper link - https://techplusgame.com/hideo-kojima-not-interested-in-new-silent-hills-revival-insider-claims/ But why this URL was indexed, I don't know - https://techplusgame.com/hideo-kojima-not-interested-in-new-silent-hills-revival-insider-claims/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=hideo-kojima-not-interested-in-new-silent-hills-revival-insider-claims Could you please tell me how to solve this issue? Pagination Issue
Hello Community, We have a pagination issue on a set of pages : http://homengo.com/s/location/ http://homengo.com/s/location/?page=1 and so on ( ?page=2, ?page=3, ...). As you can see in the source code the pagination rel and prev are there. First question : does moz crawler know and recognize pagination ? Second question : if yes then do you know what could be wrong with pagination on these pages ? Thanks

Duplicate page content & titles on the same domain
Hey, My website: http://www.electromarket.co.uk is running Magento Enterprise. The issue I'm running into is that the URLs can be shortened and modified to display different things on the website itself. Here's a few examples. Product Page URL: http://www.electromarket.co.uk/speakers-audio-equipment/dj-pa-speakers/studio-bedroom-monitors/bba0051 OR I could remove everything in the URL and just have: http://www.electromarket.co.uk/bba0051 and the link will work just as well. Now my problem is, these two URL's load the same page title, same content, same everything, because essentially they are the very same web page. But how do I tell Google that? Do I need to tell Google that? And would I benefit by using a redirect for the shorter URLs? Thanks!

How unique does a page need to be to avoid "duplicate content" issues?
We sell products that can be very similar to one another. Product Example: Power Drill A and Power Drill A1 With these two hypothetical products, the only real difference from the two pages would be a slight change in the URL and a slight modification in the H1/Title tag. Are these 2 slight modifications significant enough to avoid a "duplicate content" flagging? Please advise, and thanks in advance!

Duplicate Page Title for Wordpress
Hello, We are using WP for our blog and keep getting Dup Page Title errors for our 12 author archives pages. The title of each page is the same, but I am wondering if this is WP issue with canonicalization working properly. The most recent four pages have a linking root domain and carry some Page Authority, but the older pages do not. Is this what Rand was talking about in his Google+ whiteboard Friday talk about blog post relevancy not lasting as long as articles? Here's what it looks like. Side question, is there a reason why the SEO Moz website doesn't have a Google+ button anywhere easy to find? Thank you, Michael
