You folks see the Google Analytics Real Time View (Beta)
-
I was pretty impressed by the amount of data they can present to you and how quickly the site gets it to you.
Hit your GA account click the Home tab then click the Real Time (Beta) link in the navigation.
It is pretty impressive.

Google analytics has been slow but listening to user requests often.
I remember early last year I did a comprehensive comparison between google analytics and PIWIK , which at the time offered real data. A lot of people in the Analytics including Avinash kaushik mentioned PIWIK as one product offering real time data. This feature is quite nifty but at the same time does not yield instant insights.
I think over the course of time, this will get much better offering real time info on user patterns and what people are doing and clicking on your site. This is of course after a user permits being tracked.

Wow it took me 4 months to notice it
-
It is a fun feature! here's some more information from Google about it, written when the first started releasing it.

Help - Losing Ranking on Plural Keywords in Google
Help! I'm losing keyword rankings for certain keywords - but still ranking well on others. The trend I can see is that we're losing rankings on plurals, so this page https://www.key.co.uk/en/key/platform-trolleys-trucks Used to rank well for: platform trolleys

What happens when we canonical and point to a page which has been redirected to another page? Google response!
Hi all, I would like to know the different scenarios Google going to respond when we use canonical and redirect for duplicate pages. Let's say A to B are duplicate pages with 95% same content and C Doesn't have same content but context wise similar and priority page we expect to rank for. What happens if we canonical from A to B and set redirect from B to C? What if both A and B are pointed to C with canonical? What if A or B deleted and other one is canonical to C? Note: We can noindex or 301 redirect as they have their own visitors. This is more about showing most relevant content to the audience and avoid duplicate content in search results. Thanks

Does cached duplicate content hurts seo by Google
If we have duplicate content or pages cached in Google which has been indexed months back, still it hurts the original pages? Old URLs with cache can be seen now in Google when we search for the same URLs.

I was able to see sitelinks till yesterday but they also have disappeared now. Can someone please tell me why is this happening? Is this a temporary issue? or something needs to be done.

Google UK search volumes
If a user searches using Google.com but is based in the UK, is it classed as a Google UK search or a Google US search in terms of monthly search volumes? Most of my clients are targeting UK consumers and often rank well on Google UK but outside the top fifty for Google US. I have mentioned that that is fine unless a client happens to use google.com. Am I talking rubbish?

When did the New Google Algorithm Come into Force in the UK
On March 3rd, the hits on my UK site crashed to 40% of the previous number. I am guessing it may be down to the google algorithm change:- http://wisestartupblog.com/seo/google-algorithm-change-february-2011-losers-winners/5081 However, I am aware this happened on 25th Feb in the US. Do you know when it happened in the UK. Could it have suddenly started affecting me on March 3?
