3 Products & 50 Options each, How does Google handle product variant or options?

We are selling furnace filter and we might move our existing store host by BigCommerce to Americommerce or Corecommerce.
Before moving the store, I have a questions about our online store structure.

We are selling 3 different furnace filters, GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE Series.

Each furnace filter come in about 50 different sizes, for a total of about 150 different products.
The way our store is setup now, it is 150 different product, 150 different URL, 150 different page name...
The way it is setup now, might look like duplicate content. All the product page are the same, all the pictures are the same, the only thing that change, is the furnace filter size in the product description.
Look at those pages for example:
http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com/20x20x4-Furnace-Filters/
http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com/categories/2-Inches-Thick-Filters/10x20x2-inches/
http://www.furnacefilterscanada.com/categories/2-Inches-Thick-Filters/16x25x2-inches/
Would it be better to only have 3 products and 50 variables or size options?
What would be the best structure in a SEO point of view?
One thing we have to keep in mind, when searching for a furnace filter, shooper will use keywords like:
16x25x4 furnace filter
filter 20x20x1
air furnace filter 10x20x1
furnace filter 24x24x4 canada
furnace filter
Most of the Google search will included the filter size_._
How does Google handle product variant or options_?_
If I have 3 products, I will have only 3 URL and 3 different page name.
I know for the shoppers, 3 products with sizes options might provide a better experience, but what about Google ranking the products?
What is opinion the best online store structure in our case?

Best practices SEO recommendations would dictate eliminating the unique URLs and consolidating to eliminate duplicate content conflict considerations. Never trust Google to "figure it out" when you can instead STRENGTHEN the core product content depth through consolidation.
To keep product pages clean, you can display product variations through CSS enabled tabs, or a host of other methods. (Dropdown menus, for example).
Then, redirect all those variation pages with 301 Redirects back to the new consolidated page version for each core product.

Hi there, We have undergone a website redesign (mycompany.com) and our site is ready to go live however the new website is built on a different platform so all of our blog pages will not be copied over - to avoid a large web developer expense. So our intention is to then leave all the blog pages as (on the old web design) but move it to the domain blog.mycompany.com with 301 redirects inserted on mycompany.com for each blog post pointing to the corresponding blog.mycompany.com. NO Meta description pulling through in SERP with react website - Requesting Indexing & Submitting to Google with no luck
Hi there, A year ago I launched a website using react, which has caused Google to not read my meta descriptions. I've submitted the sitemap and there was no change in the SERP. Then, I tried "Fetch and Render" and request indexing for the homepage, which did work, however I have over 300 pages and I can't do that for every one. I have requested a fetch, render and index for "this url and linked pages," and while Google's cache has updated, the SERP listing has not. I looked in the Index Coverage report for the new GSC and it says the urls and valid and indexable, and yet there's still no meta description. I realize that Google doesn't have to index all pages, and that Google may not also take your meta description, but I want to make sure I do my due diligence in making the website crawlable. My main questions are: If Google didn't reindex ANYTHING when I submitted the sitemap, what might be wrong with my sitemap? Is submitting each url manually bad, and if so, why? Am I simply jumping the gun since it's only been a week since I requested indexing for the main url and all the linked urls? Any other suggestions?

What is the best way to handle annual events on a website?
Every year our company has a user conference with between 300 - 400 attendees. I've just begun giving the event more of a presence on our website. I'm wondering, what is the best way to handle highlights from previous years? Would it be to create an archive (e.g. www.companyname.com/eventname/2015) while constantly updating the main landing page to promote the current event? We also use an event website (cvent) to handle our registrations. So once we have an agenda for the current years event I do a temporary redirect from the main landing page to the registration website. I don't really like this practice and I feel like it might be better to keep all of the info on the main domain. Wondering if anybody has any opinions or feedback on that process as well. Just looking for best practices or what others have done and have had success with.

Does Google penalise for alot of advertising on your site?
I look after the search side of a decorating website on which we carry a large amount of advertising from external brands as that is our business model. Do you know if we would get penalised for having too much advertising - would it be deemed to affect the user experience? Many thanks for your help on this.

Question #1: Does Google index https:// pages? I thought they didn't because....
generally the difference between https:// and http:// is that the s (stands for secure I think) is usually reserved for payment pages, and other similar types of pages that search engines aren't supposed to index. (like any page where private data is stored) My site that all of my questions are revolving around is built with Volusion (i'm used to wordpress) and I keep finding problems like this one. The site was hardcoded to have all MENU internal links (which was 90% of our internal links) lead to **https://**www.example.com/example-page/ instead of **http://**www.example.com/example-page/ To double check that this was causing a loss in Link Juice. I jumped over to OSE. Sure enough, the internal links were not being indexed, only the links that were manually created and set to NOT include the httpS:// were being indexed. So if OSE wasn't counting the links, and based on the general ideology behind secure http access, that would infer that no link juice is being passed... Right?? Thanks for your time. Screens are available if necessary, but the OSE has already been updated since then and the new internal links ARE STILL NOT being indexed. The problem is.. is this a volusion problem? Given the lastest Google update, should I rewrite my Flash site or try to present an alternative HTML/CSS site?
I have a site that was created using Flash. The reasoning behind this was, at the time, that I didn't care if the site ranked or not (portfolio site). Now I would like to drive traffic to the site from SE's. Given the Penguin update, should I rewrite my Flash site in HTML/CSS or present an alternative site for bots and browsers that don't support Flash? My concern is that by presenting an alternative site to bots and non Flash supporting browsers that the SE's will see potentially see this as cloaking. Thoughts and advice would be much appreciated.

Can i do this? Will Google penalize me?
I have a page for a Criminal Defense Attorney and i set up a list of the type of criminal charges he is certified to deal with. I wanted to use title tags and put the Keyword "Miami Criminal Defense Attorney" & "Miami Traffic Defense Lawyer"...
