What is the difference between the Rank Tracker and the On-page Optimization page?
-
Both of them track keywords.
In the Rank Tracker, you add each keyword manually and you associate it with a URL.
For On-page Optimization page, the URLs are generated automatically based on searches and traffic?
-
Ah - understand now
There is currently a note on the rank tracker tool that it will be updated soon. Fingers crossed they might include this feature.

I think your wanting to know why you have to add the same keywords to both the rankings page and the on-site page and why they don't just auto-populate each other. Unfortunately I don't have the answer for this as that’s the way SEOMOZ setup the software.

Does the On-page Optimization page not show any rankings?
This is what I want to accomplish.
URL -> Keywords -> Rankings
I get an email report every week telling me about the rankings. The keywords there are taken from my "Manage Keywords" list on the On-page Optimization page.
So how come the Rank-Tracker can't use those keywords and I have to plugin the keywords manually. Something doesn't look right.

Hi Ehab,
The Rank Tracker and On-page optimisation tools are very different. I'm not sure where you have got confused, so I'll try to explain each and see if that helps.
Rank Tracker : This tool measures where your website appears on particular keyword searches. If, as an example, you were tracking the term "purple hats" then the tools effectively does that search for you once a week and reports back where your site appears.
On-page optimisation tools : This looks at the page you specify, checks it for common problems and sees how relevant it is to the term that you specify. It doesn't take in to account any off page factors (such as links or competition) and is just rating the pages "readiness".
I hope that helps clarify it a bit for you.

Moztool and on page ranking matching
How does the Moztool compare and filter the search phrases you enter in your campaign? Or more correctly, will it filter out stop words or is it an exact match? For example I enter a phrase to track that say: "book ski trip austria" Identified in Google I see that most users search for just that "book ski trip austria" But in content, I cant write that as that is uncorrect english and I want to maby write something like: "When you book a ski trip to austria you get..." How will this affect my on page SEO report, will it still match and mark a "V" in done or show a an error? Even more interesting is, what happen if you do phrases in different order like "An austrian skip trip will make you feel..."

Optimization report card says "F" but I'm ranking #1
Using the SEOMoz pro tools and several of the terms I have listed get a report card of "F" but they also show Google rank of #1, #2. Is this unusual? And should I spend a lot of time "fixing" this if we're already ranking high?

Rank Tracker Logging Me #Out
Hi I was wondering if someone could help me with something? Whenever I try and use the rank tracker SEOmoz logs me out and won't let me log back in until I go to a different page. Is this because I am on a free trial (which I don't understand as I am able to use the other tools)

Site Ranking Report
Hi guys, My site ranking report says that I've gone from being 1-20 for a variety of keywords in Google UK to not in the top 50. When I do a search myself I see that my site remains where it previously was (between 1-20). How reliable is the site ranking reporting on a weekly basis? Is it best to look at it monthly?
