Trying to find a good B2B Affiliate Marketing Software solution
-
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good B2B Affiliate marketing service for advertisers. I have a new software tool coming out shortly which I want to sell online and part of my requirements to do this is to set up an affiliate program for it.
It has been 5 years for me since I last looked or used any affiliate tools so kind of feel I'm having to start all over again.
As to reach of the affiliate solution it really needs to be on a global scale, failing that US and UK networks
Thanks for any assistance

Hi David,
I've tried to find something for myself sometime ago, but most of them won't deal with you if you don't have a specific turnover. The one I've tried for instance was http://www.cj.com/
What I've ended up doing is to program an affiliate module for my own system, which I have launched recently.
It allows visitors to sign up as an affiliate - you then accept them and they can copy code for the banners, links etc. and paste them on their website. They can also access their click reports and any conversion etc.
You can try it here: http://www.corewebsitepackage.com/affiliate.html
Site is pretty new and I've just started doing SEO on it.

Find My Missing AdWords Conversions! (my white whale)
Hello! I hope someone can help shed some light on this issue for me because I have searched far and wide for answers to no avail. So, without further ado, here goes... The destination URL's in our AdWords ads are affiliate redirects with "Google" as the Affiliate Code. Since our products are according to license, we have different price points for the same item number. We cannot get accurate earnings through AdWords. The affiliate redirect records the Google conversion in our store which gives us the ability to associate a dollar amount with conversions as well as compare the number of conversions against what is stated in the AdWords interface. The problem is that AdWords consistently shows significantly more conversions than our store's affiliate code reflects. For example: AdWords Conversions for March 2013: 31 Store Orders Showing Google Affiliate ID for March 2013: 19 So judging from those numbers it looks like 12 conversions were lost from AdWords reporting to the reporting in our online store. I have checked and double checked that our destination URL's are uniform in their formatting and have the appropriate "Google" affiliate code, so they should be recorded. Does anyone have any insight or experience with this? Is it possible that our affiliate cookie is somehow being dropped as the user is redirected to the landing page via the destination URL? 12 conversions is a pretty significant difference and since those conversions seem to be getting lost on the way to our store, that's revenue that i'm not able to add to determine the true ROI of the effort. Can anyone help?

Duplicate tracking of Affiliate and Organic orders
I started diving into the over lap between Organic and affiliate orders and can see that on average about 10% of my organic orders get tracked as both affiliate and organic (meaning i am paying affiliate commissions on them). I want to be able to better account for the different types of order and where they are coming from. My question is simply if anyone has any ideas as to how better to figure out if those orders should be canceled on the affiliate end or if there is a better way in analytics to see where the order is actually getting attributed to through some type of goal or advanced set up or something (the download of orders from organic that I compared to the affiliate ones was taken from Ecommerce > Transactions > Medium (Organic) then I compared that to the order numbers from the affiliate company I am using). Hope this makes sense and thanks for any information that can help with this!

What is the negative effect of getting affiliate links to your domain?
Are the negative effects of affiliate links to your domain bigger than the positive effects? Is it better to use a subdomain for your affiliate campaigns? (Because of linkprofile no follow links or time on page effects?) Thanks for responce!

Affilliate Marketing for local business? UK
Hi Just a quick question for expert UK affiliates. Would it be worthwhile in setting up a affiliate marketing campaign to get leads for windows, doors and conservatories for my small regional home improvement business? If so what is the best way to approach this, contact the likes of affiliate window? and would they deal with a small regional firm such as mine, or would they only be interested in national firms such as anglian home or everest home improvements? Many Thanks

My datafeed powered affiliate websites die after 3 weeks
Ok, so I've been trying something new lately: There are tons of datafeeds from webshops available on all the major affiliate networks. We thought it might be a nice idea to implement these datafeeds into your own little 'whitelabel' webshop with the power of Wordpress and a couple of plugins that help automate this process. So what we've did is this: Get a domain that is relative to the shop or products we're promoting. Install Wordpress with a plugin that enables you to import the datafeed for those products from 1 or more webshops on the affiliate networks. Each product gets an unique text by an article spinner of about a thousand words. The text on each product page is about 85% different than the others because of a massive synonym list. But each text makes perfect sense and is perfectly readable by humans. We let the system add about 20-30 pages per day so we're not flooding Google with hundreds or thousands of new pages per day because that would lead to a direct penalty. The sites look good, unique and look not much different than your average comparison site. They also have privacy policy's, contact information, newsletter subscription, sitemap, about us and all that stuff. We have masked the affiliate links because I know a lot of affiliate links might ring the alarm at Google. So overall these sites are pretty solid and look good (enough). But here is the problem: We have tried 5 of those sites so far and every time the same thing happens: the site gets indexed, gets some visitors, then quickly builds to about 20-30 visitors a day in 2-4 weeks and then BAM, it's over. Google drops the bomb on us. The sites do not get banned from the index, but they just drop a couple of hundred positions to where they don't get any traffic at all anymore. Every single time this has happened and only in 1 occasion the site "rose from the death" and came back again, but we do not know for how long this will last. So, do you have any idea what the cause of this might be? There is only one thing left I can think of and that's the age of the domain. They were all newly registered, but still, it's weird that they do work for a while and then get dropped. 2 examples of my sites are: http://www.veromodashoponline.nl and http://www.converseonline.nl (sites are in Dutch). Please help!
