Help with google adsense
-
Hi i wonder if anyone can help me with google adsense. I am having trouble making money with google adsense. I have been altering my pages to try and get better results with google adsense but nothing works.
my traffic at the moment is about 3000 visitors a day but this should be doubled to around 6000 a day within the next two months.
here is the layout of a typical page and i would be grateful for any advice on how to alter it to make money with google adsense

My first impression of the site is what an odd mixture of famous person gossip and holiday reviews
From what I can see the advertising on the holiday review pages is pretty targeted, however on the gossip pages it is less targeted. This is probably because very people people are bidding on the names of famous people or soaps. Although you may get some click if the ads were to be for a bands new album after an article about them, I personally feel that the revenue from the gossip pages is very limited.
Revenue wise, i would stick to the holiday revenue market as people like to read reviews on their holidays. I have an adsense site too but that is very limited and deals only with product reviews. If someone has searched for a review of x product then there is a good chance that they are in the mood to buy it. Assuming I have a decent review of it in terms of keyword words for the adsense bots to crawl, I should have some advertisements related to exactly the product people want to buy. If these ads then have the price of the item in it can make the ctr pretty good.
Not sure where you are sourcing your reviews from but have a search in good for the hotel reviews people are searching for and you will get some good traffic numbers. You can find review keywords getting 10k searches a month on exact search and have a competition rate of less than 15 in the moz tools.
One final remark. On my browser you seem to have a large white space on the right of the article. I assume that's because of the joomla theme you are using? If adsense allows it, maybe pop a flight cost calculator in there. These are available from a lot of holiday affiliate programs. If people read a review about x hotel then they would be keen to find a cheap way of getting there....
Hope any of this helped

Google Places Reviews
Has anyone had any delays on Google+ reviews to show up? We have multiple clients who have not received a new review in over two months. These are good accounts with good Zagat scores with 15+ good reviews from real customers. Our clients have asked their clients and have confirmed that there has been reviews left recently. However no new reviews have shown up in the past 60+ days.

Is the number at the top of google wrong
If I search a term, any term, Google states at the top 922,000 results (as an example). However, if you click the "O" in google at the bottom you can get the 2nd and 3rd and 4th page of results. Those numbers don't match. The result of my searches would show anywhere from 120-140 results, but the number at the top is in the tens of thousands if not millions. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't these numbers be the same?

"Site Suspended" in Google Adwords + Lost all rankings in Google => is this related?
Can anyone share thoughts on this: Does the S recently (mid april) we revamped our website (same content, new layout, strong brand), but a few days later our google rep contacted us to tell that she got a "red flag" for one of our SEA campaigns (we broke the bridge page policy, not on purpose to be clear), they were completely correct on this matter. We even got some extra time to correct this, normal policy is only 10 days. But, we were a little slow, so all our Adwords Campaigns are suspended and we get the message "Site suspended". We are working to have this fixed, our Google rep even granted some more time to fix this. Now, almost simultaneously, same time frame, all our new pages, that were already ranking well tx to proper 301 rules, suddenly fell out of the google SERPS, nothing to be found anymore up till now. Our website is live since 1996, no issues, up till now. There seems to be a strong correlation to what happened in our SEA and what happened in our SEO can anyone share some info?
