Pages crawled is only 23 even after 8 days??
-
Hello all,
My site www.practo.com has at least more than 500+ pages. Still seomoz says its only 23 crawled till date even after 8 -10 days of the trial period.
Now most of the pages on my site are in-site search pages. They appear when you search relevant terms with combinations etc.
Is that hindering the moz crawler to look for those pages?

Hi Aditya,
I actually went in and did a quick crawl of your site and it only found these 5 pages:
http://www.practo.com/
http://www.practo.com/
https://www.practo.com/health/signup
https://www.practo.com/health/search?searchfor=doctor
https://www.practo.com/health/searchObviously we've gotten past those 5 pages if we've found 23, but the way the site is set up may be taking us longer than normal. I'd say give it one more week, then perhaps you may want to also look at other crawling tools to see if they're able to get to your pages. If it's a consensus that they're having a hard time, you may want to add some paths from the home page to get into deeper content.
Hope this helps!

It can take far longer to crawl especially for new sites which don't have much domain authority and aren't already regularly updated. If you need to type something to access the page, then how would the bot access it? From a Google perspective, same thing. I would use sitemaps.xml for better crawling. See Google Webmasters website for more at http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=google sitemaps &source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCwQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fsupport.google.com%2Fwebmasters%2Fbin%2Fanswer.py%3Fhl%3Den%26answer%3D156184&ei=MLaKULeqL4qq0QW-5YCwAQ&usg=AFQjCNFLAzVLITWiQXaivNnwpVv8Fxbatg

How do I prevent duplicate page title errors from being generated by my multiple shop pages?
Our e-commerce shop has numerous pages within the main shop page. Users navigate through the shop via typical pagination. So while there may be 6 pages of products it's all still under the main shop page. Moz keeps flagging my shop pages as having duplicate titles (ie shop page 2). But they're all the same page. Users aren't loading unique pages each time they go to the next page of products and they aren't pages I can edit. I'm not sure how to prevent this issue from popping up on my reports.

Google Crawling Issues! How Can I Get Google to Crawl My Website Regularly?
Hi Everyone! My website is not being crawled regularly by Google - there are weeks when it's regular but for the past month or so it does not get crawled for seven to eight days. There are some specific pages, that I want to get ranked but they of late are not being crawled AT ALL unless I use the 'Fetch As Google' tool! That's not normal, right? I have checked and re-checked the on-page metrics for these pages (and the website as a whole, backlinking is a regular and ongoing process as well! Sitemap is in place too! Resubmitted it once too! This issue is detrimental to website traffic and rankings! Would really appreciate insights from you guys! Thanks a lot!

Too many on page links
Hello I have about 800 warnings with this. Example of one url with this problem is: http://www.theprinterdepo.com/clearance?dir=asc&order=price I was checking and I think all links are important. But I suppose that if I put a nofollow on the links on the left which are only for navigation purposes I can get rid of these warnings. Any other idea?

SEOMoz is indicating I have 40 pages with duplicate content, yet it doesn't list the URL's of the pages???
When I look at the Errors and Warnings on my Campaign Overview, I have a lot of "duplicate content" errors. When I view the errors/warnings SEOMoz indicates the number of pages with duplicate content, yet when I go to view them the subsequent page says no pages were found... Any ideas are greatly welcomed! Thanks Marty K.

Does page speed affect what pages are in the index?
We have around 1.3m total pages, Google currently crawls on average 87k a day and our average page load is 1.7 seconds. Out of those 1.3m pages(1.2m being "spun up") google has only indexed around 368k and our SEO person is telling us that if we speed up the pages they will crawl the pages more and thus will index more of them. I personally don't believe this. At 87k pages a day Google has crawled our entire site in 2 weeks so they should have all of our pages in their DB by now and I think they are not index because they are poorly generated pages and it has nothing to do with the speed of the pages. Am I correct? Would speeding up the pages make Google crawl them faster and thus get more pages indexed?

How far into a page will a spider crawl to look for text?
How far into a page will a spider crawl to look for text? I've heard a spider will only crawl the first 3kb, but can't find an authoritative source for that information.
