How to search adwords properly

If i search the word gold, Google tells me it is searched 20 million times/month.
I realize that is people searching the word gold in combination with other terms. I would like to know how to find out how many people search the word gold just by itself.
How do i do that?

A couple of things to keep in mind that no everyone who searches on a word (especially a broad single-word query) will actually click a result. They may look at the result and realize that they need to narrow it down, and not click on anything.
It's really hard to tell search intent from a one-word query like gold. Is it a fifth grader who is searching for a classroom assignment about gold? Is someone wanting to know about gold so they can buy gold jewelry? Do they want to know the current price of gold? Are they interested in investing in gold?

I see the problem here, were you using the Google Keyword Tool?
If yes then on the left there is a box headed Match Type
You will find a tick near the word Broad
You need to UNtick that and then tick Exact
I've attached an image of what it should look like, hope this helps

Does Google still have a standard search result? How can I get it?
I have heard a lot from the experts that there are no "Standard" Google search results anymore. They said that most of the SERP's of Google that show up are customized/tailored for each individuals even if they are not logged-in using their Google Custom Search. Not schema, but a new kind of search result?
I came across this search result in Google and I've been racking my brain out in trying to figure out how they did it. Do a search for Novus CD4 and you'll see a search result where they list additional products from the landing page. I used Google's Rich Snippet tool to analyse the page and find no microdata at play. Any ideas how this was achieved? Have you guys come across anything like this? I was thinking of integrating this with schema to display rating stars and prices on an ecommerce site S4aL5.png

How can you change 'Google related searches'?
I am having problems for a few clients where google is suggesting negative related searches. I have had success getting Google suggestion (auto-complete) to suggest the keywords we want to be associated with the brand but the 'Searches Related to....' at the bottom of the search page is a big problem. Many of the terms are negative of sometimes defamatory and have absolutely not relevance to the brand. Even upon clicking on the related searches the pages Google displays are about other businesses. Can anyone suggest how to teach Google these term are irrelevant or any other suggestions as to how to remove them?

Convert Oganic ranking into Local Search Results
Hi, Right now, my website appears in top 5 results in organic SERPs, but I noticed that my business has gradually started going down, as my local results have been replaced by organic search results. Initially I used to rank in local results, but now, I appear in organic results so the no. of calls/day have decreased significantly.
