How can I correct this massive duplicate content problem?
-
I just updated a clients website which resulted in about 6000 duplicate page content errors. The way I set up my clients new website is I created a sub folder calles blog and installed wordpress on that folder. So when you go to suncoastlaw.com your taken to an html website, but if you click on the blog link in the nav, your taken to the to blog subfolder. The problem I'm having is that the url's seem to be repeating them selves. So for example, if you type in
in http://suncoastlaw.com/blog/aboutus.htm/aboutus.htm/aboutus.htm/aboutus.htm/
that somehow is a legitimate url and is being considered duplicate content of of http://suncoastlaw.com/aboutus.htm/. This repeating url only seems to be a problem when the blog/ is in the url. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Problems with csv file from OSE
Hello Support, I have problems with the formatting of csv files from OSE in Excel. I got lines that only contain -- and these lines break up the data. It is possible to correct this manually but a bit annoying if you have 1500+ links generated in the file. I work a lot with csv files from other tools and programs and those give me no problems. Can you help me out please? Greetings Rob

Can I export data from Keyword Difficulty on several keywords?
I know that you can export data from the tool when only analyzing one keyword. But can you also export Keyword Difficulty Score when there are multiple keywords? How can I tell what day I added my keywords to the keyword ranking tool?
I can't tell if a keyword is newly ranking or if it just started ranking because I added it to the system. I have added keywords piecemeal over several months and I can't remember which ones I added on which date. Can anyone help me with this?

In my crawl diagnostics, there are links to duplicate content. How can I track down where these links originated in?
How can I find out how SEOMOz found these links to begin with? That would help fix the issue. Where's the source page where the link was first encountered listed at?

SEOmoz indicating duplicate page content on one of my campaigns
Hello All, Alright, according to SEOmoz's PRO campaign manager, one of my websites is returning about 2,700 pages that supposedly have duplicate content. I checked a few of them manually and am not seeing where the issue lies. Is anyone else experiencing something similar to this and do you know if it is just a glitch with the crawl? Here are 2 of the pages it is indicating have dup page content: http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/c-3120-1994-98-59l-12v-dodge-cummins-carbon-fiber-hoods.aspx http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/c-90-dodge-cummins-94-02-59l-12v24v.aspx Any insight would be greatly appreciated! -Craig

Blogger Duplicate Content? and Canonical Tag
Hello: I previously asked this question, but I would love to get more perspectives on this issue. In Blogger, there is an archive page and label(s) page(s) created for each main post. Firstly, does Google, esp. considering Blogger is their product, possibly see the archive and tag pages created in addition to the main post as partial duplicate content? The other dilemma is that each of these instances - main post, archive, label(s) - claim to be the canonical. Does anyone have any insight or experience with this issue and Blogger and how Google is treating the partial duplicates and the canonical claims to the same content (even though the archives and label pages are partial?) I do not see anything in Blogger settings that allows altering these settings - in fact, the only choices in Blogger settings are 'Email Posting' and 'Permissions' (could it be that I cannot see the other setting options because I am a guest and not the blog owner?) Thanks so much everyone! PS - I was not able to add the blog as a campaign in SEOmoz Pro, which in and of itself is odd - and which I've never seen before - could this be part of the issue? Are Blogger free blogs not able to be crawled for some reason via SEOmoz Pro?

Opensite Explorer CSV Problems
I'm getting a few formatting errors in the CSVs I export from Opensite Explorer, after I've opened them in Excel. Specifically, in an Inbound Links export, there are several merged fields creating new rows. This seems to be caused by line returns in the Title column. At the moment I'm sorting these all out by hand, but it's a bit of a chore when there are lots of records. However it has to be done, because you can't sort of filter properly otherwise. Has anyone else had similar problems. If so. I'd really appreciate any tips to a) stop it happening, of b) speed up / automate the process of cleaning up the CSVs. Many thanks Ben
