5xx (Server Errors)-in Wordpress

Since going to a wordpress platform in November, I have seen many 501 server errors in the crawl report.

When I click on the link in the report however, the link shows the actual page with no errors.

I reviewed all the Q&A but didn't see anything related to this issue. Does anyone have an idea as to why the actual link works when I click on it but the SEOMOZ crawl bot is showing a 5XX error.

Thanks for any ideas or feedback you may have.

Does it show up as an error in Google Webmaster Tools? Also, it may have been a temporary issue that has since resolved itself.

Could my Crawl Error Report be wrong?

HI there, I am using Yoast SEO plugin on a wordpress website. I am currently showing 70 Med priority crawl errors 'missing meta description' on my Moz pro account. This number of missing meta descriptions has increased over the last 6 weeks. But every single page / post / tag / category has both the title and meta description completed via Yoast. I requested a google bot to crawl the site a few weeks ago as thought it perhaps wasn't been crawled and updated. Any idea what the issue might be? Could the Moz report be incorrect for some reason? Or could something be blocking Moz / Google from seeing the Yoast plugin?

404 : Errors in crawl report - all pages are listed with index.html on a WordPress site

Hi Mozers, I have recently submitted a website using moz, which has pulled up a second version of every page on the WordPress site as a 404 error with index.html at the end of the URL. e.g Live page URL - http://www.autostemtechnology.com/applications/civil-blasting/ Report page URL - http://www.autostemtechnology.com/applications/civil-blasting/index.html The permalink structure is set as /%postname%/ For some reason the report has listed every page with index.html at the end of the page URL. I have tried a number of redirects in the .htaccess file but doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions will be strongly appreciated. Thanks

1 page crawled ... and other errors

1. Why is only one (1) page crawled every second time you crawl my site? 2. Why do your bot not obey the rules specified in the robots.txt? 3. Why does your site constantly loose connection to my facebook account/page? This means that when ever i want to compare performance i need to re-authorize, and therefor can not see any data until next time. Next time i also need to re-authorize ... 4. Why cant i add a competitor twitter account? What ever i type i get an "uh oh account cannot be tracked" - and if i randomly succeed, the account added never shows up with any data. It has been like this for ages. If have reported these issues over and over again. We are part of a large scandinavian company represented by Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The companies are also part of a larger worldwide company spreading across England, Ireland, Continental Europe and Northern Europe. I count at least 10 accounts on Seomoz.org We, the Northern Europe (4 accounts) are now reconsidering our membership at seomoz.org. We have recently expanded our efforts and established a SEO-community in the larger scale businees spanning all our countries. Also in this community we are now discussing the quality of your services. We'll be meeting next time at 27-28th of june in London. I hope i can bring some answers that clarify the problem we have seen here on seomoz.org. As i have written before: I love your setup and you tools - when they work. Regretebly, that is only occasionally the case!

SEOmoz showing crawl errors but webmastertools says no errors, need help!

Hi this is my first question and i couldnt find a similar question on here. basically i have a clients website that is showing 150 duplicate page titles and content errors plus others. SEOmoz analysis is showing me for example is 3 duplicate hompage URLS: 1.www.domain.com 2.domain.com 3.www.domain.com/index.html all 3 are the same page. after explaining to the guy (who built the website) the errors, he ensured me that the main URL is URl 1. and the other 2 are 301 redirects. however SEOmoz analysis doesnt seem to change the results and webmastertools doesnt seem to show any errors at all. also if i try all 3 URL's there are no redirects to URL 1. any help or clarity would be awesome! Urgent: Campaign set up 'Select Competitors' errors

Hi. Im setting up my first campaign and Im having issues with step 3: 'Select your competitors to track'. I only want to track 1 competitor: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Murphy_(writer) When I enter this and the competitor name into the form provided and click 'continue to next step' it throws an error at me: Darn, there are errors in your form! Don’t worry, Roger can’t feel pain. Dismiss crawl diagnostics error

Hello everyone, Is there a way to dismiss some errors in the Crawl Diagnostics tool so they don't appear again? It happens so that some of the errors are never going to be fixed because of their nature. For example, 'Title too long' errors that point to some of the threads on my forum - it doesn't make sense to change the title of a thread posted by user just for the sake of the error disappearing from the 'Crawl Diagnostics' tool. 🙂 Otherwise the CD interface gets a little bit cluttered with errors which I will never fix anyway. I wonder how others deal with this problem. Thanks.
