On Page Grading Not Working
-
I am not getting any results in on page grading. When I click on add keywords a list of keywords appears that I have previously entered. They have tick boxes next to them and you can filter them but SEO moz is not automtically creating grade reports? Any ideas? Obviously I've set it up wrong somehow.

Glad to help, Samuel!

Thanks very much. Now I understand!

Hey Samuel,
Sorry for the confusion about this feature. The On Page Tool only automatically runs reports on pages that are already ranking in the top 50 of your default search engine for one or more of your keywords. Thus, your On Page Rankings Reports update after your rankings update each week. If you have no pages ranking in the top fifty, then you'll have no automatically generated On Page Reports. If you have 30 pages ranking in the top fifty, then you should have 30 On Page reports.
You can always manually generate reports for any URL and one of your keywords. Simply go to the Report Card tab in the On Page section, and cut and paste or type a new URL into the URL drop box. Then select your keyword from the drop down and select "Grade My Optimization." After that, you can tell the Web App to start tracking that combination in the future, and you should start seeing weekly reports.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

When I click on 'on page' there are no grade showing. I click the button 'add/manage keywords' and a list of keywords appear so they must be in the system? Why are no reports showing?
-
Go to your "On Page" Optimization and scroll down to see all of your keywords. The current Grade is in the column to the right. You can click directly on any of your keywords which brings up the On Page Report Card for that keyword. That page gives you a lot of information about that keyword with many suggestions on how to improve your results for that keyword. Also, when you're on the "On Page" Optimization page, you will see to the left of each keyword a small down arrow. If you click on the little arrow, it brings up options to see Ranking Report, Keyword Difficulty, and Manage Keywords. Below the keyword you will also see your associated url with a small down arrow to the left of it too. Click on that arrow and there's more info like Extract Terms, Explore Links, etc. I hope this helps. - TagGuy

Good job! This URL received an grade A ?
What does this mean ? This page still ranks very bad at Google. So what does it mean that it recives a grade A ?Also, if this URL recives Grade A. It should clearly be optmizied very good on the Keyword. Stil its on page 9 in google. That is very very low on this keyword. Alot of bad blogs, foreign pages, pages without the keyword in heading, pages without any good content etc. rank better.Does this score have anything to do with ranking on google ?Something is clearly wrong with this page. The on-grade tool wont tell me what that it is. And probably dont understand either, since it gives A. Is there anywhere I can check this page on what is wrong with it ?http://www.butikksiden.no/archives/5-toffe-canada-goose-jakker and Canada Goose jakker Re-Grade Pa Good Job! Amount of Pages Crawled Dropped Significantly
I am just wondering if something changed with the SEOMoz crawler. I was always getting 10,000 or near 10,000 pages crawled. After the last two crawls I am ending up around 2500 pages. Has anything changed that I would need to look at it see if I am blocking the crawler or something else?

Duplicate Content being caused by home page?
Hello everyone, I am new to SEOmoz and SEO in general and I have a quick questions. When running a SEO Web Crawler report on my URL, I noticed in the report that my home page (also known as my index page) was listed twice. Here is what the report was showing: www.example.com/ www.example.com/index.php So are these 2 different urls? If so, is this considered duplicate content and should I block crawler access to the index.php? Thanks in advance for the help!

Duplicate page error from SEOmoz
SEOmoz's Crawl Diagnostics is complaining about a duplicate page error. I'm trying to use a rel=canonical but maybe I'm not doing it right. This page is the original, definitive version of the content: https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/sent-2011-10-01 This page is an alias that points to it (each month the alias is changed to point to the then current issue): https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/latest-issue The alias page above contains this tag (which is also updated each month when a new issue comes out) in the section: Is that not correct? Is the https (vs http) messing something up? Thanks!

Bad on page optimization grade, still displays high in SERP
I'm looking at the keyword on page optimization report for my site and I have keywords where my landing page is showing up first on the SERP, but my SEOmoz on-page optimization grade for them is an F. Am I ranking high for these terms because no one is optimized for the terms? They are almost all directed at my home page, does domain authority play a role in me ranking high for them? Thanks for any insight.
