Why is OSE so infuriatingly annoying

Damn thing tells me the www.domain im researching has 599 links internal and external.
I download an advanced report for the whole root domain of external links....and its come up with 64 in a csv file.....wtf is that about?
The data about root domain says i have External Followed Links 408 and
55,736 total links...........which is BS. this site hasnt enough internal or external to shoot from the low figure up to 55,0000By the way, im a 7
9 tall but ive never meaured my height.. Sounds like SEO data! -

Just wanted to follow up for general reference (omitting details of the site) - the OSE counts can be a bit confusing. The top count never actually changes based on the filters - it's the unfiltered, "raw" count, for lack of a better term. I believe the download pulls only Followed/301'ed links (under the "Show" menu) - in other words, links that potentially pass PageRank.

If you want to DM me the domain (or email peter@seomoz.org), I'll take a look. There are a lot of factors that can impact the count, so it's really tough to say without seeing what you're looking at. Total links can sometimes explode based on a single site-wide link (even from one domain), for example.

Problems with csv file from OSE
Hello Support, I have problems with the formatting of csv files from OSE in Excel. I got lines that only contain -- and these lines break up the data. It is possible to correct this manually but a bit annoying if you have 1500+ links generated in the file. I work a lot with csv files from other tools and programs and those give me no problems. Why is OSE showing no data for this URL?
Hi all, Does anyone have any ideas as to why OSE might not have any data for this URL: http://www.ccisolutions.com/StoreFront/product/shure-slx24-sm58-wireless-microphone-system-j3 It is not a new page at all. OSE Problems
I'm experiencing severe delays trying to export OSE data into CSV over the past couple of days. Relatively small reports I ran 2 days ago are still pending! Has anyone else noticed this? Also my campaign rankings have not updated since 24th April - anyone else? Logged with Moz Helpdesk but no reply as yet...

What's Happened To OSE's External Links For My Site?
Hi, I'm just taking my first steps with Open Site Explorer. I've hit a problem that I'd be really grateful for some help with. I'm running a website (that I didn't create) and want to get a clear picture of the inbound links. When I enter the URL into the OSE search bar, there are no external domains listed under the 'Inbound Links' and 'Linking Domains' tabs. Only internal site links are registered. Setting the filters, "only external" + "pages on this root domain", under the Inbound Links tab, does bring up a list of external sites. But I haven't had to enter filters just to see a list of inbound links with any other sites. Also, the breakdown under the Linking Domains tab remains the same - only links within my site are shown. Does this ring a bell? Any ideas what I might be doing wrong, or what might be wrong with my site to cause this problem? Cheers for helping, Josh

Bulk OSE Open Site Explorer Tool?
I am trying to do some spring cleaning for a client and hoping to prune any unnecessary domains. Is there a tool that will check, in bulk, these domains through Open Site Explorer? I've looked through all the different Excel spread sheet apps and google doc apps but they are incredibly buggy if they work at all since SEOmoz changed their data limits. Maybe a new tool has been updated in the last few months that I am not aware of. Thanks!

Ordered 5 reports last 24 hours, none received. Anyone else with this problem ? I do expect better from an expensive subscription. C'mon Moz, fix this new OSE report system please.

Looking for a tool that can pull OSE stats for a bulk amount of URLs
I know that people have developed inhouse tools with the OSE API that can analyze thousands of URLs and pull metrics like PA, inbound links, etc. I need to analyze about 80k URLs and sort them by authority and I was hoping that someone could point me to a tool that can do this or let me use their tool. I'm willing to pay for access to it. We could build it inhouse, I imagine that it would be pretty easy, but our IT resources are stretched too thin right now.
