Menu & Sub menu structure - section specific sub menu?

Hi,
At present I have a set of regions across the nav bar with drop downs for towns within these regions. This totals about 60 links.
This set up is pretty much site wide and the site ranks well for many of these towns. However, this is quite a lot of links per page (without the page specific/content links) and I am wondering about having just a horizontal sub menu of towns appear below the nav bar only specific to the selected region.
Do you think cutting down the number of menu links will be beneficial to the content page's ranking.
Sorry if that isn't very clear, can't think of a better way of putting it.

Depending on your PageRank it's advisable to have less than 100 links per page.
Cutting down on the amount of links you have per page increases the amount of "link juice" given to each link.
However it sounds like what you're asking is more of a usability issue more than an SEO one.
I would have to see an example of a page you're talking about to give a more precise answer.

Sub Directories Domain & Page Crawl Depth
Hi, I just bought an old domain with good backlinks and authority, that domain was technology product formerly. So, I want to make this domain for my money site. The purpose of this website is to serve technological information like WordPress tutorial and etc (free software or drivers). And I just installed a sub directory on this domain like https://maindomain.com/subdirectory/ and this directory I made for a free software like graphics drivers download (NVIDIA or AMD). What you think with this website? Is it make sense? Wait, I just added this domain to my campaign at MOZ and the result shown my sub directory was 6 times of crawl depth. Implementing AMP pages on WordPress blog
Hey Moz Users, Has anyone tried using the WordPress plugin for AMP pages on their blog yet? Here's the link to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/. The implementation seems pretty straightforward but since there will be an AMP and a mobile friendly version of the posts on my blog I'm worried it will create a lot of duplicate content issues. I've seen a lot of articles pointing to a rel canonical tag that can be used to fix this situation. Not sure if I'm going to have an AMP version of all the posts on my blog, so this seems like it would be a pain to place the tag manually on specific pages with the AMP version only. Has anyone tried this plugin and what have you done to fix this duplicate content issue? Thanks

My company has a comprehensive set of historical images and text - hosted separately on a free museum site - it's currently displayed on our main site as an iframe. I realize the iframe brings no SEO juice to the site - but we are updating our site - and thinking of bringing the images and text to our site. Use of ajax to fetch data of a section
Hi, Is it ok to fetch a section on a page using ajax. Will it be crawlable by Google. I have already seen google's directions to get a complete ajax fetched page crawled by Google. Is there a way to get a particular section on a page fetched through ajax & indexed by Google. Regards

Images Not Indexing? (Nudity Warning!) - Before & After Photos
One of our clients is in the Cosmetic Surgery business (bodevolve.com) and individuals most likely to purchase a cosmetic procedure only search for 2 things....'**before & after photos' and 'cost'. ** That being said we've worked extremely hard to optimize all 500+ before and after photos. And to our great disappointment, they still aren't being indexed...we are testing a few things but any feedback would be greatly appreciated! New Site Structure and 404s. Should I redirect everything?
Hi fellow Mozzers, I've recently re-released a site and also took the opportunity to change/clean up the URL structure. As a result of this Google is starting to report many 404s such as below; blog/tag/get-fit/ blog/tag/top-presents/ Most of these 404 errors are from tag or category pages which simply don't exist any more (because they were unnecessary, crap or irrelevant). Although there's also a few posts I've removed. My question is whether it's worth redirecting all these tags and pages to the root directory of the site's new blog (as there isn't really a new page which is similar or appropriate) or just to leave them as 404 errors. Bearing in mind; They don't really rank for anything There's little if any links pointing to these pages Thanks.

Optimize root domain or a page in a sub directory?
Hi My root domain is already optimized for keywords, i would say branded keywords, which i do not really need, as the traffic from these does not give me any revenue ( mostly consists of our employees/returning visitors). Now i have run on page optimization for set of keywords for root domain which i like and got good grades (hurray!). But yet my website does not show up on search engines for those keywords. I have got pretty good link building done to my root domain but this is not done for all keywords (but done for branded keywords). It just happened, please do not ask why. So i decided to optimize inside pages in sub directory with new set of keywords i like. Starting with link building, giving anchor text on various other website linking to this particular page. These pages are not ranked in top 50 in google. Is that a good practice? or I would not need those branded keywords, hence should I re-optimize my root domain to suite my new keywords by giving less preference to branded keywords? Is this a good practice?
